This used to be, consistently, the best Indian you could get in Cobb county. It was run by a nice guy who always came by to ask... how everything was. The place was staffed with good service. The food was top notch and consistent. Over the past couple yearseverything is changed. I hardly see the owner(?) anymore. The food is hit or miss. When it hits it's a grand slam. But often thecurry is watery and not as flavorful. The service is way sub par as well. When eating there there's usually a single serverworking everything and, even when it's not busy, you get the impression it's 'always their first day.' On one occasion I placeda pickup order. I gave them my name and they repeated it back to me correctly. When I went to pick it up I was told it wasn'tavailable. 20 minutes go by and the guy asks for my name and what I ordered and says he's going to check on it in the kitchen. He comes back out and says they're almost done with it. Another 15 minutes go by and it's been this bag sitting on the table allalong, the entire time I was there, just getting cold. The issue was due to them not writing my name down correctly (keep inmind I've ordered from this place with my name at least 100 times over the years without issue). It was the restaurant's mistake100%. He just rang me up for the cold meal. Didn't offer to remake, throw anything in, or provide a discount. When this placeis good it's really good. But given the decline in service and consistency we've mostly stopped going after years of loving thisplace. Currently Vatica is probably the best Indian in Cobb county and the place we've switched to. Read more

One of the places places for Indian food around in this area. Very authentic and top quality food. We went there for dinner and... ordered their specials. Everything ordered was delicious and fresh. The portions are a bit small but the quality is a match tonone. The service was great and the ambience is bright with a proper Indian touch. Read more

This is probably closer to a 2.5 actually. So I just moved to the area from Alpharetta and this is the closest Indian... restaurant to my new place. I ordered the butter chicken, bamboo fish, corn veg soup, rice, poppadums, assorted naan, etc. Starting with the butter chicken, the gravy was excellent and the flavor was very nice. The dish failed though because therewas hardly any chicken at all. The chicken that was there contained a lot of bone and gristle. No bueno! For $15, pleaseprovide a decent serving of chicken! The bamboo fish had the same issue. The flavor was nice but there were only a few piecesof fish and they were DRY and FISHY! The container was mostly peppers and onions for $10. Not cool. The soup was fine. Ithink I may try their lunch buffet since my issue is with the portion size and meat quality but I will not order take out again. This is a huge disappointment because they are so close to my new house. Read more

Previously had their food at an catered event. It was delicious and fresh. Tonight I decided to order for my husbands birthday... as a nice family meal through door dash. Food arrived fast and warm. However the food didn?t taste fresh. And the two of us arenow ill. Chicken 65 had a burnt stale taste. Husband asked twice if it was chicken65 . The tandoori chicken was I find this hardto do with thighs legs. The fried okra didn?t have a crunch to it and over battered . Even the rice tasted off . Only thingsthat was decent was the cauliflower and naan . Very disappointed as he had been craving this meal for his birthday and it was ahuge let down. We probably won?t return . Read more

I visited this twice in back to back. I leve the paneer Kadai, Dal Tadka with Dabal Tadka, Mathi Malai, paneer... Tikka. Rotis/Nana are thin and soft. I tried Plain, Garlic and green Chili (Bullet). I am sure will visit more frequent now asit's match Mirch Masala in Decatur. Read more

It's decent Indian food. The guy at the front went out of his way to get me a to-go cup of their coffee, which was delicious,... and I also appreciated this. He was good about serving us. The mango lassi was amazing. Everything tasted fairly good. The onlything I don't really understand is why the rice doesn't come with the dish. Every Indian restaurant I've ever been to, riceusually comes with the dish, but at this restaurant you either have to pick this or naan or something else in addition to yourcurry. It was alright. I wasn't particularly impressed, but it's not bad food. Read more

This is my updated review and kinda disappointed to write this one with two stars off.. this restaurant is one of my favorite... Indian restaurants and used to visit every weekend before pandemic but since pandemic time I?m taking my dishes to go and I haveseen a big drop in taste specially in case of chicken. I was a big fan of their naans as it was very thin, fresh and soft but intake away orders it was thick, half cooked and chicken was hard and dry and to my surprise smelly also . I loved almosteverything in their menu including sarso ka saag dish but that also unavailable since my three orders. The team is verypolite, welcoming and hardworking I really hope they come back to their delicious taste and improve chicken dishes. My review istotally based on multiple orders that I took since middle of 2020 til beginning of 2021 but now due to those bad experiences Istopped taking food from here. Looking forward to get those fresh juicy chicken dishes and soft ,thin naan. Uploading picturesof my multiple visits when I used to love its food . Read more

Authentic gourmet Indian cuisine! Beautiful plating. The menu is quite extensive, in book style, but I can get better... acquainted it as I come back to visit. The shrimp dish was so delicious; very tender inside and a lightly crispy tempuraoutside, the seasoning was perfect! The cheese naan is best I've had! The cauliflower was so delicious, it looks like buffalochicken but tasted so much better! The Indian version of bread pudding was so decadent!!!! I was perfectly sweet, the bread hadthe best buttery light crunchiness to it, and the dessert sauce with almond slivers and other garnishes was absolutely amazing. The decor is so beautiful, I was very happy to see the peacock paintings. Can't wait to come back and enjoy Pinch of Spiceagain! ???? Read more
