Just visited for the 1st time. Not sure if I'll be back. Came through your drive through, Excellent customer service, very... friendly, respectful and professional. That I give 5 stars. Order 2 orders of your 3 slider combo. Must say, you serve verythick pieces of chicken, they are very tasting. Now for the fries, order both the regular fries, and garlic fries. They werecold. No heat at all on the fries. And this as we drove through the parking lot. With regards to the Price, It's HIGH for whatwe ordered. $26.00. This was my first visit to Joella?s and likely my last! I don?t think I have ever given one star to a restaurant. I ordered a... quarter chicken dark meat Southren style, with fries and a sweet tea. The fries were good they were crunchy with a good flavor.The sweet tea was also good. But the chicken was over cooked, burnt and didn?t have much flavor. OMG!!! We live 1 hour+ away in good traffic and found them by accident. This is by far the BEST chicken sandwich we have ever... had. What blew us away is that the chicken pieces on the sandwich was huge!! We had one with their vinegar slaw and the otherwith pimento cheese. Everything is made in store and you can tell. The spice variety was refreshing. The mash and grave scrummyyummy, the Mac & cheese delicious. Their vinegar slaw was amazing and I hate Cole slaw. I would eat it again. If you are in thearea stop and have some great food. If I could give higher than a 5* I would! Update: 05/07/22 We did the hour plus driveagain and had to stop by. Very glad we did. Alright fried chicken spot. The tenders were decent but not as juicy as I expected. The chicken was not that hot either, but... that is more dependent on ones heat tolerance than on a broader perspective. The fries however were very disappointing. Small,soggy, and limp. The price was not justified to what was given!! The vegan chicken used to come with two patties, a slice of bread, and a dipping... sauce. I got no sauce, no bread, and ONE patty!!!! lt comes with only one side, I got two. But even they were not at all whatthey used to be. I was willing to pay the price hike because it was a "treat" to a relative. I was so embarrassed when we gothome and the meal was so subpar!!! Probably will never be returning. Very disappointed! Gluten free options! Chicken tenders were super tender! Added cherrwine sauce, yummy and a side of collards with bacon (hardly... any bacon). If your gluten sensitive remember to ask them to not include bread with your tenders. Read more
