Reviews for Little Chinatown - Kenner in Kenner, LA
It is so hard to find really good Chinese. And I'm not taking about "authentic". I just mean good quality. Little Chinatown is a... winner in my book. All the ingredients were fresh, the sauce was not sticky and heavy. My waitress was very nice as well. I hadMongolian beef, which can sometimes have a bad onion to meat ratio, but not here. A perfect meal. Read more
Very authentic Asian dishes! I arrived around an hour before closing and was very happy they still allowed me to dine in.... Service was great, and the food was even better!! I ordered the wonton soup, fried calamari, blackened short rib clay pot, anddry beef chow fun noodles. I thoroughly enjoyed each dish I ordered and will be more than happy to return. Such a great placefor food you do not normally see at other Asian restaurants. I highly suggest getting the clay pot! Read more
It was rather tasty. Better than most of what?s left in Kenner for Chinese food. Very attentive staff. Could use more seasoning... and pork in Pork fried rice. We don?t care for the sauce they used for Sweet and Sour dishes. Looks like that canned product. We?ll go back and try something else. Overall we had a nice lunch. Prices are very reasonable too. The shrimp and pineapple fried rice is not good. It's basically white rice with no seasoning to speak of. The shrimp are good,... but I was expecting well-seasoned, real fried rice. This is terrible fried rice, such a dissapointment. No soy sauce or otherseasoning and the pineapple appears to be canned. Read more
Food is always fantastic here. The server was not so great this trip, this was a first for us because they are usually... fantastic. Our food wasn't all brought at once, like a 20 minute wait for other items to be served after the first items were onthe table. We were not offered refills on our drinks. Thank goodness the food made up for what the service lacked! Read more
Was going to give two stars but apparently I gave this a better review previously. Not much was right about this visit. Asked... for two teas and a water and we only got one tea which was dropped off quickly so we couldn't ask for the other tea, not a bigdeal. Ordered wonton soup which the broth had a seafood type taste, not too good, but it was quite a generous sized cup. Ordered egg rolls which were only okay and the sweet and sour sauce bright to the table was not really good. My wife ordered thehoney chicken meal with rice and spring roll but got the honey chicken entree only. We told the lady that we ordered rice aspart of the meal and she seemed to agree that she was going to bring it but it never came. We let that go. The honey chicken wasokay but was a little different then what we are used to. We never saw the serving staff again to check on us or refill drinks. The next time we saw them was for the bill. At least the bill was correct for what actually came to our table but not what weordered. I will only return to be social if others in our group want to come. Read more
When my family comes into town, they love to come eat at Little Chinatown. The food menu is slightly more authentic chinese... food. They have a variety of dishes. I have tried so many different dishes and all were very delicious. I like that they havethe round table with lazy susan for a family style dining. Definitely worth the visit. Read more
Other than not having tapioca available for my bubble tea, it was pretty good, the spicy dishes were as advertised. I'll return... in time, meanwhile have what's on the menu available, looking forward to a bubble tea with tapioca in it next time. Read more
