Came here a few weeks ago for a Maine send off for my folks (who have moved to Florida now) and forgot to add a review so better... late than never! They accommodated my dad and gave him a comfortable chair to sit in since he has some issues sitting on hardersurfaces (we were outside). Despite a wait, we had a pretty decent experience. My mom and I shared the steamers (both agreedthese were some of best we've had), not gritty or sandy at all and cooked perfectly. My dad had the lobster stew, which heliked. My fiancé's first ever lobster roll was well enjoyed along with a cheeseburger (just in case he didn't care for thelobster). Both my mom and I got the lobster roll as well. I noticed in some reviews how a few folks complained about thelobster roll only coming with pickles and chips, it's just my humble opinion (and all my opinions are humble), I find if a placemakes a good enough lobster roll, you don't need much else. Really! If the meat is perfectly cooked and it isn't dosed in mayo,if the roll holds up, if every bite has an equal ratio of lobster and bread, I'll be a happy camper. Anything else is just acherry on top. Relatively speaking it's still cheaper than Reds or even Robert's Maine Grill. Having worked at the latter fortwo summers, and easily having made over a hundred lobster rolls in my tenure, I found theirs to be perfectly full of meat, justenough mayo, and the little dash of paprika on top reminded me of the rolls I enjoyed when visiting the Downeast. The rollitself was perfectly buttered and griddled, as we know, there's nothing worse than a soggy roll! We shared blueberry and applepie for dessert, which is homemade, and you can really tell the difference when something is bought in/when it isn't. I will saytheir blueberry pie is worth trying and getting it with a scoop of vanilla is so satisfying at the end of a meal! Overall, thiswas a pretty good experience. Our server was friendly enough and we got our food with no issues. I thi Read more

If you?re near, go for it. If you?re in Kennebunkport, get out and visit it. Cheaper, from the boat to your plate, this is a... family owned business that gives back to the community. It?s like 10 minutes out from Kennebunkport and absolutely worth it.Immediately fell for the charm of it! *** cash only *** 2 lobsters, 2 appetizers, 2 glass of wine and tip 20% came to 120$. Ohyeah! And a brownie for the lady. (Biiig brownie 2$ ish) We found it by chatting with locals (like: where do YOU go for lobsteron a regular night out) Read more

No nonsense. These prices and quality are amaze balls. We just came from Bar Harbor, so that is some perspective, but in that... light, . 22 or 23 bucks for a lobstah roll where it was like 39 in bah habah... enough said. The Chowder was delicious. Lots ofclams (& no sand), savory broth, tender potatoes. I added a little ground pepper and loved it even more The lobster roll wasfull of firm meat, and my wife, who is a bread aficionado, loved the thick butter-toasted bread. Read more

Fun experience. Excellent lobster but best when hard shells available. Ask! Rustic, lobster in the rough. Very good prices... since lobsters are caught by the family. A long time tradition in Kennebunkport and Cape Porpoise area. Very pleasant service. Read more

Lobster was absolutely delicious. It was cooked perfectly and prepared to be so easy to eat! Hubby got the lobster stew and... lobster roll. The stew was packed full of lobster, but the roll could have had a better bread to lobster ratio. Finished offwith the homemade blueberry pie. Neither of us are pie people, but thoroughly enjoyed it. Our server was very patient and kindas my brain was starting to fade. They were also very respectful of my assistance dog. Very glad we wound up here for dinner! Read more
