We went for our first restaurant dinner since the shutdown in March to le rendez vous bistro! We could not have chosen a better... place! We had the tasting menu and were absolutely delighted. Have been coming to this Mom-and-Pop restaurant since the late 90s. Food is authentic French cuisine (portions are small) and... very tasty. I suggest trying their tasting menu. Place is not spacious, with about 8 tables. You can being your own bottle ofwine. Staff is very friendly. Easily accessible from the Garden State Parkway. Read more
Highly recommended. Never had French food before here. Atmosphere was awesome. Claudia up front is warm and welcoming. I was... extremely impressed. Philippe in the back is a Genius. My wife had the lamb chops which I've never personally had before, why Ido not know? Being a steak guy I could of sworn it was and/or was better than a filet mignon. My husband takes me here when we want to splurge on a nice dinner, and every time it's been amazing. I don't know what Philippe... does to vegetables to make them more delicious than they are anywhere else. My favorite dish has to be the rack of lamb, but Ihaven't had a meal here that wasn't thoroughly satisfying. Read more
Beautiful cozy place! Loved the escargot,French onion soup and brie-mozzarella appetizers. The duck was great and the fish... assortment was an experience to be repeated. Desserts we tried were delicious caramelized banana and the trio with creme brulee! Read more
