Ordered a sugar cinnamon pretzel and it was all sorts of messed up. First it was very burnt and hard to chew and it was also... cold. Tasted like it had been burnt hours ago and never warmed up again then given to me. Secondly pretty sure it was the wrongflavor. It was extremely salted? which usually when I order a cinnamon sugar one there?s no salt really.. only cinnamon sugarlike there should be. This one was coated in salt and tasted like they last minute put a pinch of sugar on it. My fiancéordered one of the cheese stuffed ones.. I forgot what exactly they are called. It didn?t even look like a pretzel it wascompletely falling apart in the package and had been thrown in there. Had to wait till he got home to eat it since it was somessy and not made correctly. Seemed like they just couldn?t stuff it so they poured cheese all over it instead. At least histasted good though and was made freshly despite being made wrong. Read more
The Kendallville location needs a lot of training! I bought 2 chicken bacon ranch pockets today with many issues. 1, they were... small in size and round, not longer like they should be, 2, they were burnt on the bottom yet very light on top and 3, thickdough in the middle bottom was not cooked at all!! They were so flimsy they could not be held. Ingredients were not balanced, asthey did not taste or look anything like in Shipshewana and had to be taken back to the store. Very disappointed, as this itemis a favorite. Also.. The case was empty and other people asked for pretzels. The employee said it would be 8-10 minutes thenjust stood there waiting on the oven for our pockets instead of making the other pretzels that could have been sold. Peoplewalked away. They need to keep up with demand. We have had issues in the past at this location also with no pretzels available, the pretzels were small and dense, or they were cleaning and closing earlier than designated on the sign. We went a few weeksago and got there a few minutes before closing and there were actually pretzels in the case but the kid looked at us and said heclosed the register already and watched him pick up the pretzels and throw them in the trash. My 4 year old grandson cried thathis pretzel was thrown away instead of them actually making a sale. The kid laughed and said come back tomorrow. What a joke! They need to hire more than careless kids! This is a franchise location and corporate needs to take more advice from theoriginals or it won't make it much longer. And it seems you can't even call anyone to complain, as the phone number listed forthis location didn't work. I've been to multiple locations and have had issues at a few, but today in Kendallville was theabsolute worst!! Read more
