Cute breakfast nook on the grounds of the Orthodox Russian church in old Kenai city. We had the cashew chicken salad sandwich,... the clam chowder and the pickled cabbage side. All very good except too much sesame oil in the pickled cabbage! Sesame oil isdispensed for flavor- a drop is all it takes in a large batch. I was burping sesame oil burps all the way to Homer. Charmingcafe and grounds. The parking lot has a bumper crop of wild rose hips should anyone want to harvest. Read more

We enjoyed a delicious lunch. I chose the clam chowder, salad and corn bread lunch. It was fabulous. I highly recommend that... choice. I even got to try their pickled cabbage. So good! We had good service too. Read more

I don't often order food. The one time I did, it just wasn't that fab. That being said. Don't take my word on the food, but... fabulous ?? coffee and ???? tea. Chai tea is amazing. The ambiance is very warm, comfy, and inviting. Local artists' workdisplayed, etc. Oh and ???? ???? desserts. ???? Yum!! Must go to Veronica's if you live here and especially if you visit. Read more
