The 2 girls working were in a very big hurry to get out and were upset they had customers at 8:25 when they close at 9, making... passive aggressive snarky comments whenever they got close to us. I?ve been here a few times and enjoyed it. The store has a lot of frozen cakes as well as the regular ice cream treats we... expect. They employ local youth much to their credit but I have heard there have been a few sudden dismissals. High staffturnover rates make me a bit uncomfortable thus I usually go elsewhere. Read more

Was there Thursday Aug 26th. Had to await outside because of the covid policy allowing 3 people.in at a time. Finally get... inside, only to be told we won't be served because it's 9pm. Told.managers rule. I'm literally turned away after waitingpatiently outside before closing time. Either the management needs to train their employees better, or the employees need tothink on their feet. To be able to actually enter the store after waiting outside only to be turned away when I reach the cashis absolutely ridiculous. Even the customers in front of us thought your policy it was in poor taste. A guy even came from thekitchen to tell me I couldn't be served. Seriously DQ, do better. No objection over the food as it is the same across all Dairy Queens but the personal at this store needs to improve their... attitude towards customers. The employee seemed fine but didn?t know much about the pre made cakes being offered. But the owneror the manager on the other hand was just rude. He made it clear that he was not interested in taking the time to explain whatthe cakes were made out of and he rushed and spoke over me while he clearly saw I was on the phone trying to decide which one totake. For retail shops like these customer service should be a priority for them and for someone that is spending almost $50 ona pre made cake, it?s worth while to take the time and explain to the customer what they are buying. Picked up a birthday cake for my son. I guess they don't train staff on writing anymore....this is the worst I have ever seen.... I was so disappointed in the poor quality of this writing. I did not want to even accept the cake, but I needed it...it waslate...and I was so very tired (going through chemo) that I did not have the energy to argue.
