Very expensive food for no apparent reason. The restaurant is in a very cool building, the exterior, interior, and all the... ambiance is a 10/10. The disappointment came with the service and the food. I?d say that both the service and the food gave memixed emotions. What I mean is that the service and the food was both good and bad. If they were consistent with delivering goodservice and food, this rating would have been a five star. Just because of the location and the ambiance, I wouldn?t mindpaying the price I paid, but because the service and food wasn?t on point, out experience here gets Namthai Restaurant only 2stars. We ordered Egg rolls, Chicken Satay, Veg Tom-Yum Noodle soup and a Chicken Pad Thai. The egg rolls and chicken sataywere very average, it wasn?t bad but not tasty at all. The same with Pad Thai, as it didn?t have enough meat on it for the pricewe paid, the taste was okay-ish, not bad but not that tasty probably 5/10. Now the good part was the Tom-Yum Noodle soup. Itwas actually pretty tasty. I?d give it a sold 8/10. The worst disappointment was the blue drink which cost us almost $10 andwas filled mostly with ice. It wasn?t strong enough, in terms of alcohol and was completely filled with ice which made thereview on the negative side. The picture was taken after drinking the drink but you can still see how much ice is in the drink, when it isn?t supposed to have any ice(just need to shake and stir). We asked for things such as Siracha and waited the wholetime but the server never got back. I probably will never be back again. Read more

Located in a beautiful location near the boardwalk, this was a good find! Ordered takeout and the service was speedy and the... food was still hot by the time we got home. The young woman who took my order over the phone and greeted me in the restaurantwas also super friendly. I ordered both of our dishes at a spice level 2 however one dish was significantly hotter than theother (in the future we?ll be ordering a level 1 even though we have moderate spice tolerances, just to be safe). The chickenwas a bit dry but overall both dishes were very yummy and reasonably priced! Read more

Raven & Awoon are awesome waitresses. They were very polite, prompt with service, and cheerful. I tried the pineapple fried rice... and yellow curry. They were delicious. I highly recommend this place to those who want to try something different at the Kemahboardwalk. Read more

First thing first, I will write this is a beautiful Thai restaurant located on Kemah broadwalk. The inside and outside is really... nice so if you are looking for something that is Asian plus a nice sitting area then this place maybe for you. As far as thefood, it's okay. It's not the worst Thai restaurant I've tried but it's not the best either (maybe around the Kemah area but notaround Houston). We ordered the kid fried rice, pad khing, massamum curry, and eggplant basil. Overall out of all the dishes Ithink the pad khing was the best out of all since the taste was the most balance. The eggplant was fresh and I loved the basilbut it was a bit on the greasy and oily side. The massamum was spicy but was more on the sweeter side. I would say the serviceis attentive but not out of this world. The menu is all traditional Thai cuisine and it's set up very nicely - the onlycriticism I had was that I wasn't sure if they did ice tea (not Thai ice tea) and how much it was. I ended up just having waterbut that's not really a huge deal breaker for me. I believe this restaurant is better for people who may not be so used to Thaifood or if you rather have Asian vs seafood. This is an exceptional restaurant tucked away in Kemah with wonderful staff and a beautifully decorated interior. The bar was a... temptation too close and the cocktails very well made. We had calamari and tod man pla appetizers and then moved on to curries, pad Thai seafood, and a kee mao rice dish that were all delicious. Read more

Absolutely amazing. My husband and I came for dinner in a cold Saturday night and we are both forever customers now. Everything... was fresh. Great service. The best Thai curry I've ever had. Egg rolls were amazing. Mango sticky rice for desert. Thai tea wasspot on. You really can't go wrong here. Worth the price and worth the time to wait because it's literally made to order. Read more

This place was absolutely delicious and they have some of the best Thai food I've had. The pad kee mao was really really good we... ended up ordering 3 and their fried rice was so tasty that there was barely any leftover. If you come here don't skip out ondesert because they have this amazing and yummy mango sticky rice that was warm and tasty with sweet mango. Read more
