A few things. The carousel is not being used anymore and they expressed that it's probably permanent. Despite only having 3... tables of guests, it took about 5 minutes (in silence. No ambient music) after being seated to see our server and hedisinterestedly asked if we knew what we wanted, is that it, then walked away. The menu shows beautiful presentations, but thatis certainly not reflected in the actual presentation. It tasted decent enough at least. The thing is I wouldn't complain exceptthe prices are what I'd expect in a nice restaurant and the atmosphere was closer to fast food. Read more

Small town sushi does GREAT!! We ordered a platter full of sushi nigiri, uramaki, etc. ALL of it was fresh, generous portion... sizes, and delicious. Be sure to try their house soy sauce: you have to ask for it. Read more

Now I’m normally not one for sushi, but my wife loves it. So, date night we went and it was crazy good. She loved the sushi... and I had a bento tray with Katsu Chicken and tempura veggies. All of it was great! Even the California roll that came with thebento was good! Also the gyoza was good too! Totally would recommend! Read more

Thought it was still a rotating belt sushi so came in for a light snack (& because we were just trying it as well). Bought... fairly low end stuff, inari etc... Still ended up being $30+... It just wasn't worth it. Quality was fine, but not "wow",better than low end PDX metro belt, equal to high end belt... Not even close to our regular sushi spots. Flavors were a bitdifferent on everything... Not really a positive or negative. Bottom line: If we go for sushi in the area again (not in thearea that often) I'd try somewhere else before going back. The sushi is absolutely amazing. They use stick chunks of salmon over all amazing presentation and good flavor. The only thing... that I didn't like about this place is there a fish tank it was really dirty and made me feel bad for the fish Read more

3.5 stars rounded up because flavor and service were good. The ingredients were fresh and the fish tasted great. Service was... good. The rolls were a little messy/loose and fell apart. Also seemed too big for the standard one bite per piece, even in thesmallest roll. Prices seemed a bit high compared to similar sushi places. As of this review (6/26/22), the conveyor belt is notrunning. I assume due to covid, which is completely understandable. I didn't see a note on their site or Google or before wewalked in, so I wanted to add this note. This did not affect my rating. Read more

FANTASTIC SUSHI ! ???????????????????? ???? Fresh, high quality sushi ingredients — that are up to par with any of the higher... end sushi restaurants we have frequented in Seattle area — at a competitive price point. Menu features a wide array of rolls, both common choices as well as many specialty rolls if you like to change it up (the Orange Roll, Cherry Blossom, and Fantasyare some of our favorites). If you are dining with friends who are too reluctant to try sushi, they have a good assortment oftasty cooked dishes as well (the teriyaki salmon is delicious). The miso soup and cucumber salad that come with dine-in entreesare yummy too. Service is prompt and consistent (we’ve truly never had an error with any of our orders over the course ofyears, including large parties and to-go). The restaurant dining area is always clean and tidy. The preparation of the food isauthentic, and presented with care. They also have a kaiten-zushi (sushi conveyor) for people in a hurry or who like to try alittle bit of many things. Sora Sushi is well worth the drive for people who live in or are passing through Lewis County, rather than spending your hard earned money on questionable-at-best sushi elsewhere (i.e. Royal Sushi in Chehalis). Thank youSora Sushi! You’re one of our favorite restaurants! ?? Read more
