If you are a person with celiac in the Kelowna area, this is a must visit place! Fantastic selection of celiac safe gelato (at... least 12 flavours and only 3 weren?t gluten free). They also offer a gluten free ice cream cone, and each scooper is only usedon the specific ice cream flavour, so cross contamination is essentially zero! You know from other reviews that this is the best gelato in Kelowna - but another reason to come here is that the staff actually... care. I eat out a lot, like a dozen times a week. I can?t remember the last time someone came out to the outdoor seating tocheck to see how your take away was. Seriously, we order from the friendly and informative staff member behind the counter, pay,get our huge cones and sit outside. A few minutes later the same staff member comes outside and goes by each table of people toask them how they are liking the ice cream. Mind blowing. Such a simple step but this is one small example of a business culturethat separates a store from a brand. Hats off to QB for either instituting this OR else for hiring someone who cares and showsit. Her attitude alone would bring us back ? but really let?s get back to the gelato?. The mint chocolate chip is made withfresh mint grown locally. None of this fake bright green food coloring. QB Gelato is one of the most unique dessert and hot beverage experiences I've ever had. The BEST gelato paired with the creative... imagination of the owner, Kevin, so that I've encountered flavours that I didn't know could exist in vegan and traditionalgelatos, as well as tempting pies, tarts, and cheesecakes. Kevin's gelato-infused lattes and coffees are creamy and sosatisfying. I love that QB is open year-round, because it's a regular stop for me. Read more
