Have been to Masa's Grill 3 times in the last few months. Each time the staff has been awesome and the food has been terrific. ... Views from the porch-like patio are amazing. We checked the menu and it clearly states gluten free options. My husband who is a severe celiac ordered, the waitress came... back a few minutes later telling us the chef said there is nothing they could because they don’t have any way to cookanything gluten free so a salad would be good only option and who knows if the dressing would be gluten free. So my husband satthere and had a coffee while the rest of us ate dinner. 4 of us ordered the masa bowl that clearly says in the menu it has chickpeas in it. None of us got those either. One of us said she wanted them after the fact so they brought only her the chick peas.So no protein for the rest of us. But we all paid the same amount as no discount was offered or mentioned. Another one of usordered the steak sandwich that he said was about a 3 out of ten with little too no taste and the Cesar salad tasted like just abottle of store bought dressing. We go out to eat often and have never come across a place to eat that can’t do something forgluten free. Most places bake it separately, most good chefs would know what to do. Decided to try this place for lunch on route to a bike ride. Four of us sat outside on the patio, the outdoor heaters were... appreciated as it was a fall day. Garden views were beautiful and peaceful. We ordered Prime rib dip with Caesar salad, TurkeyBacon club with fries, Mediterranean Tagliatelle Pasta and Pumpkin soup. Each of us enjoyed our meals. Flavour combinationswere top notch, so tasty we ate everything up. Portion sizes were decent too. Server was friendly and prompt refilling waters asneeded.
