Ordered 3 things.. they're all so bad... Seafood Crunchy Noodles was the worst. There's no flavor at all. Noodles tasted like... paper... I can't believe they had so many good reviews... First time dining here, great meal. The wait staff was attentive, including water refills and to check if we needed more wraps... for our 'wrap your own' rolls. Had the Hue Spicy Soup, Special Combination, and Three Colour Combo. Super tasty and filling!Another member in the party had the Pineapple Fried Rice, which was served inside a half pineapple shell, which was visuallyappealing. We went here for Vietnamese dishes. Well we were disappointed. The only thing that really tasted correctly is the Vietnamese... coffee with sweet condense milk. Other than that, the dishes fell flat. Maybe the high rating here is for the big portion?! Butanyway the special noodle - bun dac biet/ bun thit nuong was bad. The meet was uncut, that was uncomfortable to eat. Theseasoning was way off. The taste was also not good. Would not recommend this for an authentic good Vietnamese food. *Update: Myfriend wanted to go back to this place for pineapple rice. Hoang Gia ( see photos ) What can I say? The atmosphere is very nice and calming, waiters were polite and patient. The food... was mediocre. The deep fried tofu was nothing to gloat about the presentation was nice but flavour just wasn?t all there. Thefried chicken on rice noodles was pretty bland. I had a great time when we ate here the other night. The food was delicious, timely and fresh. The waitress was very helpful,... quick on refilling drinks and the service was fast but not rushed. I definitely recommend going here as the food was delicious,will be returning when I am back in Kelowna! Read more
This place has amazing flavors! The plating looks beautiful! When i arrive there it was lunch time.We didn't have to wait long... at all, I was very impressed. I was so hungry I forgot their exact names. They were all water melting in my mouth. We alsoordered entrees one was the seafood on noodles and the other one was vermicelli combo. They were superb! Hui soup was pretty darn good. I'm a big fan of Vietnamese food and it did not disappoint. I got it there right before close... and should have been wise enough to take it to go but pho is meant to be experienced in house. Wish I could have finished thebowl but I got in there last minute and they wanted to close. Read more
