What a fun little place! The atmosphere is great. We missed out on sitting in the back patio due to construction, but the indoor... seating was fine and there are some tables outside in front as well. Great decor and friendly staff. The food was full offlavor, but the chimichanga was different than what we're used to (tiny!). Great toppings and tasty rice made up for it. Read more

Sadly I?ve had to come back and edit my previous five star review. To their credit the food was superb until my most recent... experience. I picked up my food and the order was incorrect which is forgivable. I returned to the restaurant and they correctedthe order but the food I was given was absolutely terrible. My burrito was completely dried out and filled with steak so toughand overcooked I couldn?t chew it. I ended up throwing it out. Churros were equally dry and inedible. I?m extremely disappointedas this used to be one of my favorite restaurants. Read more
Hector's was recommended to us by our Vrbo host, and we were not disappointed! Great atmosphere on a summer night (didn't... realize there was a hidden gem of a patio in the back!) The tacos were delicious, and the Nachos were a bit different fromtypical pub fare (in a good way!) they were flavorful and a single order was perfect for 2 to share. They have a nice decor and a great patio. Also a lot of options for Jarritos flavours to choose from. Their burrito was also... decently large and full of fresh fillings. However the enchiladas could?ve been better. The sauce was quite bland and thestuffing was mostly potatoes with tiny shreds of chicken. It needs to be all chicken. Hector's Casa redefined the burrito, and Mexican Cuisine as a whole for me. Absolutely unreal yummy! Unbeatable flavour.... Absolutely mindblowing combination of spices. The meat was perfectly tender, veggie ratio on point, tortillas soft and saucesdelectable. My first visit was today, and I know I will definitely be back soon!!! The best authentic Mexican restaurant in Kelowna. The tacos are fresh as well as the veggies. I think the peas in the rice were... frozen, not sure as I didn't eat them. I appreciated how the plates are heated, small detail but something not everyone does.Drinks are on the pricey side. Service is excellent and the back patio reminds me of being in Mexico.
