Came twice in five days because the food was great. First time had a veggie pizza, but second time requested the Caveleti pizza... without prosciutto as I?m vegetarian. Sadly it came with no cheese and with prosciutto so I had to send it back. Then second trycame with no cheese and no prosciutto. I just ate it as I don?t like to waste food. Happy hour wine order was also wrong andsent back. After paying I mentioned the no cheese error as I wasn?t looking for a freebie, but the server was not sympathetic orapologetic. We have been customers there for one year now, and the food is amazing, along with the service, however on our last visit we... took 2 of our friends from Vancouver and wanted to order some drinks for the happy hour but we arrived 15 minutes earlier andthe waitress just told us she couldn't do anything about even though we told her that she could bring us the drinks after 2pm,but her answer was no again. The food was average and overpriced. The mozzarella balls were pretty good but the tomato sauce they came with could have been... made with more spices, tasted like it was basically just tomatoes. It also tasted like it was made out of canned crushedtomatoes. The pizza?s took a long time to come out even though we were the only ones in the restaurant. I got the arugulaprosciutto pizza and it was fine, a little dry just having an olive oil sauce. I did the combo and the Caesar salad wasstrangely oily. The gluten free pizza crusts weren?t very good, which was disappointing since you have to pay extra tosubstitute and there?s so many good gluten free alternatives out there now. My boyfriend?s pizza crust was undercooked and whenthey put it back in the oven they brought it back to him burnt. The reason I?m giving two stars instead of three for the averagefood is because they didn?t compensate or discount my boyfriend?s pizza at all despite it being undercooked and then burnt. My partner and I have different pizza preferences and Famoso was a crowd pleaser. It's a great in between of thick and thin... crust. The toppings were ample and it's fun to watch the pizza get tossed fresh. The servers are all nice and sweet, they makethe experience nice as well. Ordering take out over the phone was a good experience. Famoso picked up the phone almost immediately, they took my order and... read it back to be afterwards to confirm, and they had my food ready in about 10 minutes. Price was very reasonable for adelicious fire roasted pizza, they did a healthy amount of toppings and the crust was perfectly made. Location was great, therestaurant was beautiful and lots of seating - opened concept and they have outdoor seating. Staff was very friendly uponarrival for pick up - spoke very kind to me the whole time ( everyone who was working there seemed happy and that they enjoyedtheir position ) Parking was good there was some 30mins free parking, there was also paid parking on the street and then anotherlarge lot behind the building which was also paid parking. We stopped in for happy hour/early dinner today on the back deck and had the best service from Abby! We live in the area and... have always had great food and service at Famoso. I have been meaning to leave reviews in the past, and today decided I would.The pizza and meatballs were superb and wine and beer excellent and very decent prices! My husband and I decided to try Famoso last week for our date night and decided to go back again tonight! Everything was... delicious, and the service was great! The food arrived promptly. The decor is very nice, and the place is very clean. I had thelinguini rosé with prawns (I added extra prawns). The pictures also show bruschetta, Dark chocolate salted caramel gelato, thewatermelon sorbet, pepperoni pizza, prawns a la diavolo, and Napoli salad. The peach Italian soda is also pictured here.
