While the reviews were promising, we were unfortunately underwhelmed. My partner said the barbecue sauce on the burger was so... overpowering it is all you can taste and the fries and cauliflower wings were a bit mushy. CENTRAL location and super friendly / accommodating staff. Central is an awesome spot for a quick beer to watch the game or... sit-down on the patio with friends and family. There?s ample parking, bike racks and tie up spots for your puppy. Daily specialsand plenty of menu options. Sophie was incredible and we will definitely will be back! Read more
Definitely a step above typical pub food. The vegan alternatives were well thought out. Portions are generous. Only issue I had... was the bun was doughy. Server didn't seem to care much. This place is the real deal. The food was delicious, the cocktails were innovative and spot on but the level of guest care and... attention truly blew our group away. Everyone we interacted with was genuinely kind and warm. From the hostesses that greetedus, to the bartenders who we chatted with while we waited for our table, to our server and the food runners that came by thetable and the manager that checked in on us to ensure we we?re having a good time? everyone at this place deserves to beacknowledged for a job well done. Burgers were decent, nothing to rave about though. The Queen B was a little bland, but the Royal Blue was better. The patty in... both were lacking a bit in flavour, but at least the texture was decent. Truffle fries were good, and so was their house madeketchup/bbq sauce. Nice patio when it?s not too hot out! We arrived right when the doors opened and our food and drinks came quickly. We were surprised at the presentation as it seemed... more like a local pub vibe. Service was excellent. Once 12 pm hit..the place was packed.. on a tuesday. The food was delicious!My fiance is Celiac so he opted for a gluten free crust for his pizza. Typical Gluten free crust but the topping on his pizzawas so rich and flavorful! Not many choices for Gluten free but what they did have sounded great. I had the poke bowl. It wasvery flavorful. A must stop!! The vegan pea and mushroom Alfredo was so well done props to the chefs!! Also ordered the award winning burgers... and there?s totally a reason they are award winning they were so awesome! Loved the atmosphere in here and our server was on topof it too. I was here the other day and trully enjoyed myself. Had a pleasant cocktail and some yam fries. Service was great and staff... friendly and knowledgeable. Atmosphere was pleasant and makes for a great date night option. Would recommend it to looking for apleasant experience. Read more
