We haven?t had fish and chips for a long time but decided to check out The Broken Anchor as they offer a gluten free batter. -... Wild pacific cod ($21.55 for 1/2 lb) - cod was extremely disappointing; completely dry and overcooked. Fries were soggy, limpand bland. - Steamed clams & mussels ($19.00) - white wine sauce with garlic was decent but something you could replicate athome. Just now ordered as it was one of the highest-rated places for fish and chips but in vain. What a disaster it was, you can see... the pics yourself. Dry fish, thick batter and fries were burnt and in pieces. Who serves such fries? Fish was also not tasty atall, $27 in drain. Avoid this place at all means! Such a waste! Read more
