Best restaurant in the area for Mexican food. I go to Molcajete every Wednesday for the half-price Margaritas and the delicious... food, which is always consistent. Reasonably new menu, renovated interior and excellent customer service keeps people comingback. The servers are all very kind and make you feel welcome and valued as a customer. It can get a little busy at dinner timebut there's good reasons for that. Read more

Hands down the best Mexican restaurant in Kearney/Excelsior Springs area. We are always greeted warmly when we walk thru the... door. The staff is friendly and courteous; knowledgeable of the menu offerings and daily specials. The do offer taco Tuesday???? for $1.50/taco- mind you, these are their normal size tacos; not the small street tacos served elsewhere for $1.00. Themargaritas are tasty and consistent. They offer daily drink specials like a jumbo margarita for $7..and they aren't weak. Youcan taste the liquor. Our favorites are the burrito Gigante, tacos, pork chimichanga and the Molcajete. We stopped in today while in Kearney and are very happy with our decision. We both had the Speedy Gonzales lunch and it was... very good. The young lady who waited on us was very polite and attentive to our needs. Someone ordered the shrimp fajitas andthey looked and smelled great. This place was awsome! My burrito was huge! It was so full of flavor,delicious. The margaritas were pritty good. The rasberrie... was mellow and sweet. My daughter liked the blue one. Her burrito and rice was so yummy also. The salsa was good and mellow. Iwould suggest this place to anyone. Never have I had such great portions! Our waitress was attentative and fixed any issue. Wow! They make some delicious food. The service was quick and to the point. We will definitely grab food from here again. We... never had to ask for more chips and salsa, it just kept coming and everyone had their own salsa bowl. Drinks were refilled whenlow and the portions were enough to eat for lunch and dinner.
