Ordered the fresh catch of the day with macaroni salad. It is absolutely delicious! Hawaiian comfort food.
Wife asked if we can eat here as the reviews were good. When we saw the place it looked like a bait store, it took a long time,... and we had to wait in parking lot in the rain. The wife got a poke bowl and I got "the catch of the day".. They don't eventell you what it is. But.. Best fish I had on the big island by far. Worth the wait and we even tried to go back before wewent back to the main land (they closed early). Wife said Poke was as good as the other known Poke Places but what the catch ofthe day was the possibly the best fish I've ever had. (side note: all the fish/food we got in Kona was really good, so to saythe best is something. Thanks guys!) Read more
The staff are verry nice, and will patiently help you if you're not familiar with their menu. The food is good, we had hawaiian... poke, lobster burger, and chocolate macademia pie. All of them are delish, and tasty. They don't do indoor seating, but theyhave benches and table outside that you can use. They don't have a comfort room, but they do have hand washing station inside,and a porter john on the parkinglot. Read more
This is the best meal I've had on Big Island! We had the sampler poke platter (4 pokes) and the lobster crab cake. Our favorite... was the salmon poke, so fresh and well seasoned. The lobster crab cake was THE BOMB. We had to return the same day for seconds! Service was excellent, very friendly staff :) would highly recommend! Read more
