Went here for National Fried Rice Day on September 20th because I read it was the BEST fried rice in Houston. THAT IS NOT... TRUE!!! I order the Tiger Noodle Fried rice and the meat in the rice was tough like it was old. The shrimp was good. My friendordered the duck and it too was dry like it was cooked the day before and just heated up and re-served! It was a total waste ofgas AND time to drive there (43 minutes) Would I go back? Placed my order, chicken broccoli and 2 spring rolls and waited around 10 minutes. Then, I was notified that they messed up my... order and that I had to wait another 10 to 15 minutes. UPDATE: They changed their chicken for General Tso's or overcooked it. It tasted like dry dark meat chicken instead if juicy... white meat. So disappointed as this was my favorite place fir the General's chicken. If Sun Tzu was still around, he'd have theGeneral executed for this. Original review: Wow! Good, clean, delicious Chinese food in the Katy area. HUGE portion sizes forthis fat American's stomach. So much that I could only finish half the plate of thr General's chicken! If Sun Tzu had anythingto say about my only eating half, he would probably just put me to death for not completing the task. So our first experience here and I have to say it leaves alot to desire. The small spring rolls were nothing like what is... pictured in their menu. My beef and broccoli was blan and had a weird after taste. All three of us agreed that something wasdefinately off. The sauces were not thick but watery instead. We didn't finish our meals. If you're not picky and aren't lookingfor taste then maybe you'll be fine here, if you're looking for a tasty meal this is not the place for you. Read more
Went to a car show behind the plaza with my father + decided to eat here instead of the grill on the other side. Had been... wanting to try Tiger for a while now but never was drawn to make it a point. I enjoyed how diverse their menu was. My appetiteallotted for a comfort meal I haven?t had in a while so the Taiwanese sausage fried rice + red chili oil dumplings were theselections I made. Price wise, pretty fair. I enjoyed the quality + flavour overall. The fried rice wasn?t my favourite but whenI added the red chili oil into the already oily rice for additional, enriching flavour, it made it much better, in myopinion. The dumplings were soft + simple. Pretty legit kick of spice! Was surprised it wasn?t tame. So that was a plus!Considering my pallet is obsessed with habanero, birds eye, ghost, Carolina peppers .. I approve that cute tingle. Easy on thestomach (for me) Had tap water. It was good. Would definitely return. Clean ladies restroom. Nice attentive staff. Nicelocation. Great for larger parties. So I have been to the other location in Katy Fwy and now I have tried this one! Both have the same menu and all but although... they are separate locations the food taste the same. It was delicious, the flavors of this food is amazing. They have plenty tochoose from. This place is small but plenty of seating, it is also very clean. Read more
The food here was absolutely amazing! So so flavorful and delicious. I got the Taiwanese beef soup and my husband got the beef... and chicken hot pot. The hot pot was HUGE so make sure you have an appetite or are ready for left overs. I wish we weren?t fromout of town. I?d come here weekly! Read more
