Reviews for Sharetea in Katy, TX
My third time ordering from this location and I realized that Black customers or not welcomed or even cared for at there... location. The same order nothing special Classic Black Tea only and they keep giving me Classic Black Tea with Milk and mind youI have paid for Uber to deliver and included a tip for the driver only to receive something you or your family can drink. Now Icall the location again and they only say they read the order wrong again and mind you they tell me they no my last orders werewrong also because they got busy and just read incorrectly. No manager is ever around and they say the manager will call youback and of course that does not happen, point blank they do not want Black business and that is fine, so I will just make itknown Black business is not welcomed. I just didn\'t understand why this keeps happening until I realized they saw my last nameand said they don\'t want Black\'s ordering from their establishment. This is unacceptable in so many ways because I am not onlyout of money but time as well so enough is enough. I have never felt like my dollars are not wanted at any business before. Thislocation is just horrible and unprofessional and just don\'t care about customer service of Black customers. I was going tobring the drinks back but I don\'t want anything they have to offer and now this goes to there other locations as well. I wouldgo to the I10 daily and spend 30.00 dollars plus and never got treated this way but now I just don\'t want to deal with any ofthem. Read more
We tried the kiwi tea for the first time and it was really good.\nThe herb jelly had a slightly weird texture to it but it was... good too.\nWould definitely come back to check out other flavors! Read more
Have been coming here a lot ordering mostly the same thing but now there?s this white film on the pudding. It?s a different... texture. There?s more than one bit that has it. What.. what is it?\n\nEdit:\nThat?s the fastest response to a review ever! Thanks! It did feel like it was a different texture so bubbles make sense. Changed to five stars. Read more
First time trying this place out. Love it! Delicious and fresh. Plenty of boba and options. Will be back again. Very chill... environment. Parking can be an issue when it?s super busy! Read more
Not all ShareTea locations are the same. Didn?t like my Thai Pearl milk tea.
This was my first time coming to share tea. I usually go to tea house but I was in this plaza and wanted to try it. My favorite... drink to order is taro pearl milk and that?s what I ordered here. When I got the drink it was so pale and I was already off putby how it looked. I took one sip and it tasted like straight up milk with pearls in it. I didn?t like it at all so I asked oneof the employees if I could exchange it for a different flavor at least. The girl was nice about it but she said I can?texchange a drink just because I don?t like it. That was a bad first impression to me since the first time I went to tea house Itried a drink and didn?t like it they were more than happy to help me find a flavor I liked (which ended up being taro) I gavetwo stars since it looked clean inside and the employees were friendly but I won?t be returning I?m just going to stick with teahouse. Katy Asian Town is a fun place to visit for food and drink. The options are many, and if you?re in the mood for tea, you will... find at least a half dozen places to visit, one of which is Sharetea.\n\nSmall in size, this Sharetea location can seat about 25people on the inside, but many who visit here will get their drink to go. There is no outside seating, so if you want to sitback and relax, you will need to grab a table. There is music in the background, but there are no televisions or otherentertainment. The focus is on the tea.\n\nWith tea, guests will notice it is divided into categories such as fruit tea, milktea, brewed tea, signature tea, etc. The teas are mostly cold, served over ice, but some offer hot options as well. If you want, you can also elect an add- on, such as pearls, pudding, ice cream, even assorted jellies.\n\nSharetea serves several tasty teadrinks and they are mostly sweet. I noticed that they list calories and most of them are rather high, but if you like you canrequest that yours be made less sweet, which will cut the calories. The milk teas are generally higher in calories, but thereare several excellent choices among them, like mango green milk tea, coffee milk tea, ginger milk tea, and so on. They have somedelicious fruity options, too, like tropical fruit tea, passionfruit orange grapefruit tea, and others.\n\nOne thing I likeabout Sharetea is that each drink comes in one standard size. This is cool because it means you don?t need to decide on a size.If you want more, just order a second serving. I also like how the drinks are sealed with a thin layer of foil on top. To drink, you just poke your straw through the foil. It helps keep your drink from spilling. Oh, just be sure that, if you order yourdrink with added pearls, you get a wider straw. If you select a standard straw, the pearls will clog the straw. I also like thatthey place a small label on each plastic glass indicating the flavor. This way, you know which is which Read more
Ask one of the employees there if the taro and green tea drink was completely vegan and she kept saying that they were but they... are NOT. The powder has dairy in them and I kept asking her to make sure it was dairy free and she was really adamant that itwas. Only found out the next day because I went to another location and they actually checked the ingredients. Incrediblydangerous. Employees need more training Read more
