I ordered the chicken salad on croissant. Great flavors and large portion size so fair price. I asked about sides other than... pie and was able to get chips. However only chips were available. Update- we returned for a second visit because the pie is so delicious. They do actually have milk. However, it is NOT on the... menu. I asked the staff if they have milk, they said "yes, it just isn't on the menu." The pie was just as amazing this time tooand the milk was ice cold. A friend with us said the Proud Pie is goooood! Original review- Proud Pie was great! A bigselection of amazing pie! We had the- Orange Dreamsicle Cheesecake, it was as good as it sounds. The Coconut Cream Pie was asgood as I can remember having! Big, light and smooth made this delicious pie a masterpiece. Only one thing missing ....milk. They have a large variety of hot coffee and cold coffees, cold drinks, sodas and juices but no milk. Those sweet rich piesneed some cold milk to wash it down. But Proud Pie is still amazing. I would highly recommend and hope to return! Read more
Every time we've tried the pie here we've never found a bad one. Never disappointed. My spouse loves the apple and I recently... discovered how great the cherry is but I usually go for the key lime or chocolate. In contrast, I recently tried house of piesagain hoping I just had a bad experience but literally I've tried 4 or 5 pies from there at this point and none were good. Theyare way overrated. If you want great pie, Proud Pie is the place. Plus their house coffee is very good, everyone was sofriendly, the vibe to eat in was cool and they're back open late again. Read more
I've been wanting to try the King Cake pie. I missed it last year, but was definitely not going to miss out this year. Mainly... because I move this summer. Far far away. So, I'm telling you, if you have yet to try this one, or any one at all from ProudPie, GO! Great location. Awesome atmosphere and fast friendly service. I couldn't finish this slice in one setting. Not becauseit was too sweet (it's perfect), but because it's more than enough portion wise. Which I'm not complaining about. I get more pietomorrow! Glad I was able to make it in before I move away! It?s Proud Pie Coffee Shop and Artisan Pie Bakery. Pie is the specialty atProud Pie and there are more than enough choices to tickle your taste buds and oversaturate your sweet tooth. Select among suchpopular options as pecan pie, chocolate silk pie, coconut cream pie, key lime pie, and many others. They also have a featuredpie of the week, which is reason enough to visit at least once every seven days, just to delight in whatever delicious treat thebakers have created. Proud Pie serves other things besides pies. They also serve breakfast sandwiches, lunch/dinner sandwiches,quiche, and even a few smaller sandwiches for kids. If your appetite is hearty, you may want to consider a sandwich and drink,followed by a piece of pie for dessert. Many people, like me, come here just for the pies but there are other foods, too, makingit a good choice for any time of day and for any meal. The other specialty at Proud Pie is their beverages. Many people are sointrigued by the pies that they forget this is also a coffee shop. Many of the iced and hot coffees and teas contain flavorslike chocolate, pecan, vanilla, etc, making them highly compatible with the pies. If you?re not too hungry, one of these coffeeor tea beverages might be all you need and they are reason enough to pay a visit. The interior of Proud Pies seats about 40people, so it isn?t exceptionally large. But the cozy confines are more than sufficient to sit down and enjoy a sweet treatpaired with a cup of tea or java. It?s a little pricey here, but it is still one of my favorite places in Katy for pies anddrinks, and a place that earns a top recommendation. Read more
