Came here at 6:40pm. Line was long asl and clearly not moving. Attempted to go in the lobby because there were people inside... eating but no doors both locked. No sign on the door showing holiday hours etc. Employees talking to people inside but the lineis not moving at all. Had to go back in line because I was Uber delivering for an additional 30 mins smh. We usually come here at least once a month to get a family meal of spicy chicken, which has usually been a nice golden brown... with crunchy skin or coating. However, on Tuesday, November 8, at about 6:48 PM. I bought a 12 piece family meal of spicychicken on a coupon and left the restaurant. When I got home we opened the chicken and found it was all burnt a dark browncolor (see picture) and the skin / coating on all the pieces was soggy and greasy. Not at all an enjoyable meal. I?ve been visiting this store for a little while and I always get my food perfect. I?m pretty much special with my food and they... already know it so they always offer me some fresh chicken and they?re always honest about how many minutes their chickenalready have. Furthermore, they?re always nice and try to solve and ask my questions as nice as possible even when there?s alot of cars and orders. I?m sure fast food isn?t easy as it looks!! But still they?re always nice. Bonus point: they do havejelly! I have visited many Popeyes stores and this is one of those that actually have and offers you jelly. Great one. Read more
Horrible service. Placed an online order to pick up through the drive thru. Upon arrival was told to pull forward and they would... bring my order out to me. There are 5 cars behind me they all get their orders before as they just pull up and place theirorder. All I ordered was just a 10 piece legs and thighs and a chicken sandwich. Unless everyone behind me is ordering somethingbesides chicken, I'm not sure what the delay is. Horrible service would not recommend this popeyes location. Definite 0 stars. Read more
I have given this place too many chances. It seems that they are always attempting to get over an pull a fast one. The staff is... nice, but the effort they put in to cheating you out of a fresh food experience may reach above the people actually preparingthe food. It just may be a culture of short cuts. I?ve been there 2 different times and got a box of chicken that appears to befried the dipped back in the grease to make it seem hot and fresh. So if you go there close to closing time beware. An 8 piecechicken meal should have 2 each of the 4 pieces of chicken. If you are not aware, they will give you wings and legs (the cheaperpieces) in place of your breast. I?ve had to ask them to give be the proper pieces on several occasions. One time we had afunction so as a last resort we decided to go get a big box of chicken. Got it home and it smelled and tasted like fish. We tookit back and the manager admitted it may have been cooked somehow on the shrimp grease. He did exchange it, but that should neverhappen. I attempted to call them to keep from writing this post, but the number listed is never answered. The last straw wasthem not correctly placing the top on the beans and now we are cleaning beans out of the car. THE WORST PLACE BY FAR IN KATY ! Tonight around 7 pm after working along day doing Sprinklers my brother pulled through the... drive through to get some dinner the line wasn?t long but we noticed the guy before us drove off with out getting anything ????When we came up to the drive through speaker he order WINGS .. the lady said SORRY WE DONT HAVE THAT .. laughing and gigglingwith another woman thinking it was FUNNY .. MY BROTHER SAID OK I WILL GET . Sorry we DONT HAVE THAT TOO.? LAUGHING ?!!
