We were on our way to another restaurant and seen this place absolutely packed with people! So we decided to see what all the... fuss was about. All I have to say I am so glad we stopped here! The food was outstanding and the flavors just came out all atonce,,,, just bring your appetite as the portions here are gigantic, the only thing I was upset about was I couldn't finish allthe food!!! They only have frozen margaritas so it’s not the wife’s favorite but the micheladas are really good. The calamari pieces... were too small some chunks were just batter. The ceviche was missing that spicyness I enjoy. The rice is always good and thepopcorn shrimp is ok. Read more
BEWARE! This used to be a great place but I see a declining number of customers. The staff is nice and friendly but something is... not right here. As someone else mentioned here, our dinner check changed. We were giving our check however the credit cardrecipe increased by $18. Ya know, they give you your check, you hand them your credit card and they return with the paper yousign. Most people just sign the paper and leave but I noticed the amount ran on my card had increased. What the heck is goingon here? They told me they could not change the amount because the card had already been charged. We would have to wait 10 daysfor a refund or something. It didn’t make sense. I’ll probably never see the money again but they never see me as a customereither. Silly people losing customers like this. Do they think it was worth it? Well here’s a review to balance your books. This was an online order: I’m a regular customer, but today I had a terrible experience, got home and realize they did not put... my large shrimp friend rice I called and spoke with the manager Laura she will go ahead and issue a refund, fine. But then whenwe star to eat and start sharing the rice with my husband there was a hair in rice ???????? as shown in the picture, I calledagain and spoke with Laura and she said she couldn’t issue a refund unless I took the plate and receipt back to therestaurant. Very frustrated with this poor service. Will definitely not recommend. Read more
I thought we'dd give it a try but it wasn't all that. The Orchata water and the Jamaica water were tasteless, more like colored... tap water. They don't have many flavors for the wings to choose from. The special rice supposed to have shrimps and beef, buy itwas more rice than anything. Other places make cuts on the tilapia to fry it better, here the don't which makes it more greaseand the flavor if any, stays on the skin and not the meat. The only thing we liked was the micheladas. I loved the buzz here. Always busy with people and music. Had the shrimp rice, Fried fish filet and Shrimp combo, loved it.... Worth the try, the food is fresh and lot of flavor! Cheers!! Read more
The service was very good. As for the food, the elote and grilled shrimp were good; fresh and flavorful. The shrimp fried rice... was ok, but didn't live up to the hype I've been hearing. The salad was very mediocre, just iceberg lettuce and one unwieldychunk each of tomato and jicama. The fried shrimp were disappointing. They weren't fully cleaned and the breading was flavorlessand undercooked. The restaurant was also very hot inside. Read more
