I hate to give such low ratings to local businesses, but this food did not taste good. Instead of 20 mins we waited 45 mins... which was fine. But the food, no excuse for that. We ordered goat and chicken biryani. Goat biryani was basically masala ricetopped with mostly bony pieces with barely any meat on them. Just two different things assembled together which is not abiryani. It wasn?t good. Chicken biryani was worse. No flavor what so ever with 2 pieces of chicken. I ordered food for a small gathering at our home. Honestly, food quality is too good. I really felt happy with the quantity of... food they gave. Biryani tastes good and the one thing I should appreciate on the biryani flavor and mainly the texture of rice.If you are planning for any catering orders/take outs with in Katy, I strongly suggest to opt for Grand Briyani and Kababrestaurant. Found this place randomly and stopped in for lunch. The smell of exotic spices was noticeable immediately. I ordered the... boneless chicken biryani and a garlic naan bread. Price was reasonable and the service was very fast considering the food wasprepared fresh to order. The friendly server came out with a huge portion of chicken with fragrant rice and crunchy naan bread.The spice combination was intense and authentic! As hungry as I was I could only get through half because they gave me so much.Had plenty left for a second meal. Will definitely be returning ing for more! Read more
Not sure from when did "veg" biryani start having egg. Quality was bad, oily and very less quantity. Gobi Manchurian was... uncooked. Malai kofta with rock solid koftas. Edit, response to owner: those biryani pictures and review for that are old, fromlast year. Although the rocky koftas I had tried was on July 4th 2022, ordered via doordash. When we walked in I wasn't sure it was a restaurant! Looks more like a daily store front. But there are tables & So sparkling... clean! They take your order and make everything completely fresh! Chef came out to ask about how we wanted our food prepared!These people really know how to treat guests special and how to prepare the most incredible from scratch meal pretty quickly! Tried their weekend special Halwa Puri and it was absolutely delicious and blew away my expectations. We also ordered the... omelette paratha and chicken tikka leg. The paratha was the best I?ve ever had and the chicken was so tender and juicy.Completely disagree w what some people have said about the food and don?t understand some of the 1 star ratings. This is the BEST Indian food I have EVER had. I literally crave it daily now. This will be the only place I give my business... too.
