Ordered the popcorn chicken, Furi fries, banh mi thap cam and a passion fruit tea. The popcorn chicken was crispy on the outside... and juicy on the inside with perfect flavor. The fries were excellent with the right amount of crunch and toppings. The banh mibread was delightfully fresh and the ingredients on the banh mi were prepared with the precise balance needed for full flavorand texture in every bite. The restaurant dining room and bathrooms were super clean and the employees were very friendly andhelpful. The owners were on location and said they also provide party platters that I did not see on the menu. One of the ownersis from Nha Trang and prepares his hometown dishes of bun cha ca Nha Trang and nem nuong cuon Nha Trang. I will definitely beback to order this for any upcoming parties! Don?t forget to grab a boba tea while you?re there! Read more

I love tea in most any form and with so many tea houses in the area, there is always a new place to visit and a new tea to try.... A nearby establishment that has caught my attention and quickly won me over is Breaktime Tea Lounge, in Katy Asian Town. Mostpeople who visit Breaktime Tea Lounge will come here for the drinks, and for good reason. They have several delicious andmemorable milk teas and fruit teas from which to select. The Thai Green Milk Tea is my favorite, but there are more than enoughother flavors and styles, all equally good. They also have a few coffee drinks, but this restaurant is mostly about tea. If youwant something to eat, Breaktime Tea Lounge has several Vietnamese Bahn Mi sandwiches, plus shrimp, egg rolls, popcorn chicken, and other foods that are just right for a light meal or side snack. There are no really large meals here, but you should easilybe able to satisfy your appetite with a pair of food items. I usually go for the chicken tenders and egg rolls, for example.Paired with a milk tea, I leave feeling satisfied. The atmosphere at Breaktime Tea Lounge is cozy and friendly and it?s smallenough that it is generally quiet. This makes it a good choice when you want to sit back and chat with a family member or friendwhile you sip your tea and nibble on your snack item. The metal chairs aren?t the most comfortable, but they are good enough fora short stay and shouldn?t distract too much from your enjoyment. I?m always up for trying a new tea house. Breaktime TeaLounge is a very nice little establishment for tasty tea and a quick snack. It is yet another reason why I have grown to loveKaty Asian Town so much and why I visit here are frequently as I do. Read more

Stopped in and had the Banh Mi sandwich and also tried the fried shrimp basket. The flavors were fresh and the shrimp was... perfectly fried and tender! Their fruit teas are some of the best I have tried in the Houston region. We will definitely bereturning. Read more

Extremely disappointed in this eatery. Overpriced is my first review, secondly the food is frozen, (cafeteria like) quality, as... shown in my photos shared. The decor was pleasant and the customer service was ok, however, the food feable at best. The floorswere dirty and no one was there at the time except me and my husband. The chicken wings were 12.00 for 6 petrified pieces withno meat on them. The dipping sauces were basic and not hand crafted. The French fries were cafeteria like frozen and soggy. Notimpressed, will not return, recommend they change a few things or take your business elsewhere. Read more

Decided to stop by here on our way back from out of town, was not disappointed. Their home made desserts are certified AMAZING!... The yogurt is a must. Wish I would?ve bought more. Mango green tea was perfect and not too sweet like other places, their miniegg rolls were a perfect addition to the vermicelli noodle bowl, I had the shrimp, fish sauce was a perfect blend. Kimchi frieswere about a 7/10 for me, could?ve been better if it was a bit spicier but that?s just me. Read more

This tea shop is AMAZING!! Your sinkers (boba or jellies) are included in the price of the drink. Speaking of prices,... Breaktime's are hard to beat. The staff was so friendly and was extremely helpful. My fruit tea tasted fresh and they weregenerous with the jellies. I was able to get in and out very quickly. There's plenty of parking as well. I really appreciate theearlier hours as well! Read more

Found BreakTime after looking for a place in Katy Asian Town to sit with my laptop and get work done. I had visited two other... tea spots in the "main" area of KAT. When I walked into BreakTime, I was pleased to find lots of table space with outlets in aquiet environment. They seem new and I don't think people have quite discovered it yet. It was the perfect spot to study, withplenty of space - they were even playing lyric-less, jazzy music (coffee shop vibe). My friend and I ordered two teas, aJasmine Milk Tea with egg pudding and the Pandan Jelly tea. I loved that the sinkers are included in the price ($4.50) whereasmost places will charge you extra. They even sell milk tea by the gallon/half gallon. We also ordered a banh mi and popcornchicken. We were very pleased with both; the banh mi was loaded! The popcorn chicken wasn't greasy at all and came with sweetchili sauce. I definitely recommend this place for studying or even just to sit at one of the couches and read. I want to comeback and try the Vietnamese egg coffee. I wanted to try it but it was too late for me to be consuming that much caffeine haha. Read more
