OH MY STARS! My fiancé has been telling me to try this place finally I was like, okay let?s go. AMAZING FOOD. Very sweet staff.... I will be back forever. And they also serve breakfast all day. I went from the Tea side and walk through inside. Maybe the young lady didn't see me at the counter but it took her a long while... to come over. Even her interactions with other guess was dead pan. Looks like she wishes she was anywhere but here. I will giveher a little grace, it may have been a long day and closing time was near. On the other hand. I had the chicken friend steak,mash potatoes, gravy and turnip greens. It was flavorful and filling. Eating with my lil broke best friend. He got Bolba nextdoor and was very pleased. I was a bit skeptical when I pulled up. I wanted tea, but was hungry and haven?t had much success with coffee shop restaurant... combos. Ordered the catfish and devoured it. Everything was perfectly seasoned, great price. I will absolutely be back. Read more

So I have absolutely fallen in love with this restaurant!! We ate lunch/dinner here ordered the chicken fried chicken and sides... and they did not disappoint! We loved it so much we came back for breakfast the next day (not pictured) everything was still soawesome! Pancakes,omelette,eggs Benedict, and my teenager who doesn?t like breakfast got shrimp Alfredo and a salad that wasalso soooo good! Total we?ve tried at least 7 things on the menu and I have not one complaint! Our waitress Jessica was so niceand friendly and had a great personality. The tea place next door was pretty busy and both them and the restaurant are constantfamily owned. I don?t know what they pay that chef but she deserves it all! We will definitely be frequent flyers here! If Ihad to add a suggestion I would recommend maybe playing music or turning the TVs on? just seemed a little quiet and you couldover here other tables conversations.. no big deal! We love it here! 2nd review because as restaurant reviewers I believe in giving a second chance? We ordered the Baccalis Breakfast and Waffle. It... was good. Since this time we were able to actually sit in the restaurant, the menu is really diverse. I upped the stars fromone to four. Why not five? Because it?s 30 degrees outside and the heater isn?t turned on. Below is my previousexperience: They open at 9:30 am according to what they have listed online. We walk in and wait to be seated as the signinstructs?so we wait and wait?a lady that works at this restaurant sees us and walks away?as in goes to hide in the back.
