Reviews for Acapulco Tropical in Katy, TX
For sure not worth the line. I really don't know why people wait in long lines for average. Nothing special here.
Fast and friendly service. This reminds me of the snow cone places in the inner city. Nice little patio area. It is always... cleaned up outside too. Great drive through snacks or dessert stop after dinner. Read more
Came here and was not totally blown away. Customer service was great, the horchata was good, the Oreo cookie ice cream was ok,... the strawberry ice cream a above average. The Frito Pie was good (not pictured) but I think the serving size could be bigger. Iwanted to love it but it was Ok. Read more

What more can a girl ask for? Spicy elote cups, raspas, and the unbelievable natural ice creams. Matter of fact, I'm craving the... ice cream that comes in their banana delight. If you're a ???? fan, DON'T CHEAT YOURSELF!! The elotes are always on point withoption of parmesan or queso fresco, which is my favorite and suggestion. Step up and try this cool place for a sweet treat ANDsome really good munchies. Read more
First visit yesterday evening. Although it was a great change from the normal, it was nothing I couldn't get elsewhere. As... mentioned with others, this is a CASH ONLY place, and no prices are posted. A sign or some indication of cash only would be nicebefore ordering and the attendant request for payment. Service for walk up customers is second priority to the drive thru. Iordered the "Elote", which is traditionally a Mexican roasted corn. My order of corn came straight out of a large pot of boilingwater, and had zero flavor of being roasted. More than likely corn from a can. Topped with a wide variety of options, toinclude: butter, mayonnaise, salt, pepper, parmigiano cheese and red salsa. Overall flavor was not bad at about $4 for a largecup. Not sure I'd order it again though. If I returned, I'd probably lean more towards getting some ice cream, as the postedphotos look very appetizing. Read more
Service is slow, but everything is good. Great place to satisfy all those Hispanic cravings.
