I started off with a small gumbo soup. The price of the soup is based on how many protein items are added to the soup. You can... choose from shrimp, sausage, crawfish, and chicken. I selected shrimp and crawfish. The soup was flavourful and it had a littlekick (spicy) to it which I really enjoyed. I'm very picky with gumbo soup, and this is one I would buy again. Afterwards, I hadthe fish and shrimp combo. I liked that the fish and shrimp breading was different, because some places use the same breadingfor both. I enjoyed the flavor of both items. Part of my order included the 2 fried fish with etoufee. My fried catfish was not fully cooked, as you can see. I called to... notify staff and was asked to bring the food back to get another order made. I told them I was not driving 20 minutes back totheir location tonight. To get a new order made, I have to bring the old order back. So, now I have to hold onto food until I?mable to get back to that location. Please take a lesson in customer service and remove this inconvenient requirement. It?s theimplication that people have to lie about uncooked food that annoyed me. Read more
Encore, encore, standing ovations! This place hands down was one of the most delicious, delightful and freshest restaurants that... I?ve been to in a very long time! Quan, was funny, friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. Shortly after ordering thefood it came out piping hot! Wow, that first bite was heaven. I can?t wait until the next time I step foot into thisestablishment; go in hungry and leave happy! Oh, I (we) ordered almost everything on the menu, fried fish, blackened fish,fries, Cajun fried rice, gumbo, boudin balls, garlic bread, and a boiled bag which contained 11 EZ peel shrimp, three redpotatoes, and corn; it was extra for one egg (.99) and for the sausage (2.39).
