Chef Glenn was super nice and so knowledgeable! Our little baby loved the butter croissant! So flakey and soft. The taro coconut... bread and banana bread were so delicious. Perfect level of sweetness, natural delicious flavor and no unnatural strong colors. The best we have tested ever. Can't wait to go to the Saturday market to try the sticky buns. Read more
Croissants were flakey, flavorful, and an absolute delight. As a tourist, I had a great experience and love supporting locals... and checking out local farmers markets. Experienced this sweet and savory treats at the Coconut Marketplace Farmer's Market. Themacadamia nut sticky buns used locally sourced honey, so according to Chef Glenn, it's always different every time he bakes it.And that's the other gem of this place, Glenn was so helpful to me and my girlfriend, describing and sharing all about the foodthere. I had the savory Portuguese sausage croissant, which had amazing texture and fillings. My gf loveed the Ube croissant.Initially bought three, and then ended up buying 3 more before all was said and done. Would highly recommend to anyone visitingKauai. Mahalo Glenn for a great experience! Read more
Shockingly bad given all the amazing reviews. Can't tell if it's a local thing or tourist trap? Croissants being $5 is very... expensive so I was ready for something very delicious but it wasn't even proper croissant dough. Someone compared to France-definitely not even close! It wasn't flakey, wasn't light dough. It was hard and could've been lightly fried? Also very small. The inside filling was moist but overall tasted old. Maybe the cakes are great but there was no option as it was only a standoutside. The building may be closed during covid? Didn't look nice but the employee was friendly. Still 1 star given price andquality. Passion bakery is supposedly much better. Wouldn't recommend nor come back.. Very disappointed. Read more
