Best gyros on the island! Definitely will come again. Highly recommended.
We opted for this little spot to try something different and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious!! With a capital... D. My Husband and I ordered the jumbo lamb and regular falafel and were Surprised at the portions when we got our meals. Eachorder was served with a stuffed Grape leave and 2 pepporcini. We also ordered the baklava but I am still soooo full from ourmeal we haven't tried it yet. Read more
My partner and I just got a jumbo chicken and jumbo lamb gyro here and it did not disappoint! The jumbo was worth the fee extra... dollars and was loaded with meat and all the typical gyro toppings. Super satisfying and delicious meal. We are consideringgoing here for breakfast tomorrow that?s how pleased we were with our meal. Read more
Not bad. Definitely not the best gyro I've ever had lol. Felt like it was more of a greek salad lol. Way too much lettuce! I get... the impression they haven't experienced a traditional gyro because they're usually mostly meat with very little in garnish. Thelamb was flavorful, but dry and the pita bread was bland. It was huge, but pricey. It's an ok place to go if you really want agryo, but remember it's Kauai so authenticity of most food is lacking. Most ingredients are limited to Costco because its theonly source of supply on Kauai Read more
So glad we stopped here! Authentic, flavorful place. Large portions. The aroma was so amazing we didn't take pictures before... eating.... we didn't think of it till midway through. Read more
I wanted to like this place. Kauai badly needs good Mediterranean food. But despite friendly people working there, the quality... just isn't what it needs to be. I had to wonder if the cooks had ever encountered gyros before. The ingredients were mostlythere, but the proportions were way off, and the end product rather dry and lacking in flavor. Typically gyros achieve moisturethrough liberal application of tzatziki sauce and not skimping on fat and oil when basting the meat or prepping the bread. WhatGGS sold me was about cardboard level dry. Got to be more generous with the tzatziki or look into adding something like tahinisauce. Read more
Can't wait for them to renovate. Gyros here are so good.
