I got the Suya meal, Egusi with Eba and Chicken stew meal. Everything was delicious. Customer service is top notch. Restaurant... and kitchen are very clean. They just ran out of plantains so I had a roll with my meals. Which was a bummer Read more

Super cute decor, very clean, and every single entree we ordered was delicious! The beef patties were perfect, not overly hot,... like they sometimes are. Two in our group ordered the veggie patties. We beef eaters tried them. All five of us agreed...skipthem! My oxtails (pictured) were the best I've ever had. In life. The rice and peas had a little sauce/gravy on them that had asmall amount of meat in it and they were delicious. The Cabbage was so good (if you prefer soft, overcooked Cabbage you mightnot like it) I got some to go, to add to the large amount of leftover rice and peas I had. It also came with a few friedplantains and they were cooked perfectly. Portion sizes are large. Both the owner/chef and the other (co-?) chef were friendly, personable and welcoming. Thoroughly enjoying conversing with both of them! We had to go to the counter to order. Not sure ifthat's the norm. The food also takes a while, so be prepared to wait. But it's hot and fresh, so it's defintely worth it. Relaxand have a beef patty and a Ting, soon come! I'll defintely be returning, this place is a gem! Read more

Party of 5, we had 6 different meals. ALL were EXCELLENT. Great seasoning, generous portions. Good meat patties, veggie... patties, meh. Oh, and they serve Ting! We had lunch; atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming thanks to staff and our party of 5! Felt like I was eating at Auntie's house. Can't wait to go back to try some other options on the menu. Absolutely amazing food best fish I've ever had. The ox tails were incredibly tender and just the right amount of spice. The... jollof rice was fantastic and so was the bit of slaw. Plantains were perfect not too tough and just the right amount of chew.Their curry shrimp was delicious so fragrant and the shrimp were cooked perfectly. I am going to have to come back at some pointto try their fufu and one of their soups. Read more

I ordered the curried goat and it was the best I've had out of the 4-5 Jamaican food spots I've been to. The skewer was tasty... and the beef patties were crispy. Read more

Three of us went to Wah Gwan for lunch. This was our first time trying authentic Jamaican/African cuisine and we were beyond... happy with the experience. We had two Pineapple and Ginger Sodas, a Coke, and a bottle of Water to drink. I ordered the CoconutCurry Shrimp with rice. Tye ordered the Escovitch Fish with rice. L-ordered the Jerk Chicken with rice. I also ordered threeBeef Patties for the table. We each ordered something different because we wanted to be able to expand and try three differentdishes. The portions were more than expected and we all had food left over. The Beef Patties are beyond delicious. I?mpersonally not a huge pastry fan, but these are absolutely a must try! Our bill was $62.69 before adding the tip. The food isamazing, the service was great, the decor and overall feel of this place is uniquely perfect for the food on offer. They havefree Wi-Fi, clean bathrooms, large comfortable seating options, a corner chess table set up, and plenty of parking in the backof the restaurant. You can enter the restaurant through the back door. I always feel kind of weird going through back doors atrestaurants, but their back door opens right up into a hallway that quickly leads to the large open space of the restaurant. Wewill definitely be going again! Read more
