Wonderful dinner! Very special. Wine was fantastic and so was our server.
Visited for restaurant week. Our server, Danielle, was amazing. The food was lovely. However, I and another lady in our party of... three became very ill later. The only difference in what we ordered and our friends meal was dessert and one bottle of wine.Contacted the restaurant manager. He seemed disinterested for the most part. Great food. Great service. Good price. Convenient for attending show at Kauffman Center. Put all together, it's hard to beat.
Service was just OK. My main course came out cold and needed to be sent back. The other entree was warm but my friend chose not... to send it back. When the manager asked how our meal was and I told him about it, he blamed us, stating the server brought itout but saw we were still eating our salad, so took it back. I fail to see how that warrants serving a cold dinner. I responded?you asked, so I told you?. He apologized and walked away to chit chat with the hostess.
