Reviews for Sura Eats in Kansas City, MO
This place use to be so good now the food is dry and not a good taste the last few times. Taste a lot of vinegar and salt. I?ve... only ever got delivery I wouldn?t mind going in person and getting the whole experience and trying something different then thejapchae noodles. Read more
Restaurant is cute and staff is super nice, but not an authentic taste. It?s nice that they provide vegan alternatives, but... tteokbokki was fried and tasted like straight sesame oil.. nothing like the flavor of the typical gochujang based sauce it?snormally in. Super disappointing and honestly not worth eating. If you have never had real Korean food, you?ll be fine. Read more
This place wants to be an ultra hip urban eats, but it?s not quite there. There are ingredients with individual flavors that hit... the mark, but overall the flavors don?t blend well enough to give 4 stars. However To their credit the beef was velvetedperfectly, and presentation was great. Read more
Came here with friends. Didn't know it was a Korean fast food place. The gentleman and the woman working here were so... accomodating. They remade my food after I found our there was mirin and white rice wine vinegar in the cabbage and the soysauce. They helped me out so much. I'm a Muslim woman and would definitely come back. Thank you nameless, but kind preparers! You made my day. Read more
I could smell the Korean food from a block away! So glad I found this little gem, the rice cakes and beef were outstanding.... Fried dumplings and bibimbap were great as well, I?d definitely come back! Read more
Was really looking forward to this spot, as as a huge fan of korean food. They have a modern twist on korean food. The food is... good, not amazing but still good! I got the bimbimbap and rice cakes. The bimbimbap was alright, I think the pickled cabbage wasa bit overpowering. The rice cakes were very flavorful. They do toast the rice cakes before cooking it with the sauce. The saucehas lots of gochugang and a very deep red color compared to authentic food. If you don't mind a modern twist, this is the spotfor you! Read more
First thing first, food is not bad at all. However, if you think authentic Korean food, this is not the place you looking for.... I'm Korean-American and I order Bi-bim-bob & Dduk-bok-kki, as my personal perspective, food was good. Not great or awesome butgood enough. Also I respect their own recipes and way of cooking. However, couple things I want to point out as I hope theyserver bit more close to authentic or Asian taste, whichever you call. First, using too much vinegar, yes we using vinegar onsauce but, its little bit too much. Second, it is little bit salty over all but understandable and acceptable because peoplehave their own standard of taste. So, I wouldn't mind to visit again if someone ask me to go, but not definitely comeback kindathing. Still, giving 4 stars because I see their passion in food which they are trying to get their best. Visited for lunch. Parlor is a fun fancy food court concept. Prices are reasonable. The food here was good overall, but could... have used a little extra flavor to make it 5 stars! Will go back and order something different. Pictured is the Bibimbap. Read more
