We came here for my husband?s birthday and we?re not disappointed. Very upscale, modern decor with a live jazz band. We were not... rushed through the meal at all, we had over 2 hours to enjoy our meal. Service was great and the food was amazing. Everything, even the crackers served with the charcuterie, were house-made. My husband has the dry-age KC strip which was extremely thickand had a great flavor. I had the sea scallops which were tender and in a flavorful sauce. They brought out a lovely sparklerfor my husband with dessert. Overall I really enjoyed this restaurant and would recommend it for special occasions. Read more

Its actually really hard to beat this place. First off. The restaurant itself is just beautiful. Warm.super comfy chairs .cozy.... Yet still modern with a uniquely wonderful bar... Speaking of the bar... the cocktails were 5star all the way. Wine list is5star all the way. Bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable. Drinks are quick to the table. Drinks are also unique andseasonal. The table service is at the top level of service you can get in a restaurant. Isaac and James are exceptional. Theybring a level of professionalism that makes people want to go out to eat.. Nothing ever went undone. They knew that menu insideout. And the chef was hands on with every beautiful plate of food coming out of the kitchen. Which u can see if you're facingthe kitchen. They have a really cool semi open kitchen concept where u can see all the action. Not only is the food great butthe presentation is unbelievable. Entire experience 5stars, hands down! Read more

Had a wonderful time here for my sister in law birthday. We had Gary as our waiter. He was the absolute best! He was attentive... and made sure everything we needed was taken care of. He checked on us in a timely manner and made us all feel welcomed. I woulddefinitely recommend him if you come here to eat. The food was good but him as our waiter made everything much better. GO HERE. We?ve been going to Stock Hill for years, and I?ve never left disappointed. One of the best restaurants in Kansas... City. We went last night for drinks, and the current staff is one of the best I?ve seen so far at Stock Hill. Justin?s (thebartender) hospitality and skills were unmatched and welcomed us kindly, even though we only had a short time left before theyclosed. My husband already wants to go back next weekend and request him, because the drinks and vibes were so good. Rachel(the bartender) made me an amazing London Mule and really tried hard for me to find a cocktail I wanted, since they were out ofthe Get Swifty (which I highly recommend). Love love love this place and will be a frequent customer. ???? Read more

I wanted to love Stock Hill, but the service was lacking and the food was just good. From a service perspective, all of the... staff was nicer to us than our actual waiter. It took 30 minutes to put in our initial drink order. Our section didn?t seembusy, so it was a little odd that it took so long. There was also a significant wait time in between when we put in our drinkorder and when were able to place a food order. Our first course came within 10 minutes after putting in our food order, so thekitchen wasn?t backed up. I don?t mind waiting for food or drinks at all, but waiting to order food and drinks is a littlefrustrating when you have reservations. I don?t eat red meat, so there were only a few items on the menu; which I anticipated.I ordered the baked potato and a wedge salad and both were very good. My husband ordered the wet aged steak and wasn?t impressedby his cut of meat. Honestly, for the price, I would rather visit a handful of restaurants with better service. Read more

Dinner date with the Hubby. We had reservations so we didn't wait in line the aura was nice it has a romantic ambiance. There... are multiple waiters and waitresses that continuously fill your water cup and clean anything off your table that you're finishedusing throughout the entire evening. Although u will have one main waiter. The food was very elegant and worth what u pay. Welook forward to going again. Read more

We made reservations at Stock Hill during Restaurant Week so we could check this place out. Stock Hill came highly recommended... so we were excited about his place. To start with they have complimentary valet parking and there's also a free parking garageright next to the restaurant. The staff was welcoming and the environment was very cool. Our server, Matthew, was AWESOME! Heanswered questions, was funny, and helped our friends choose a wine that would complement their meal. The food came outbeautifully even though our friends steak was a little rawer than she wanted. Matthew was great at taking her steak back andhaving it cooked a bit longer. When the steak came back and was still not at medium like she had ordered they made her a wholenew meal to take home. The manager apologized to her on our way out and hoped we would come back and give them another try. Wetold him we would definitely return! Stock Hill is a fancier restaurant that we would not typically consider, but after ourexperience, they have definitely made our list of return restaurants!! Read more

Delightful in every way! First time to Stock Hill, Rachel was our hostess (a term we FAR prefer to the awkward 'server') who was... attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Carol had the Crab Bisque, I had the Steakhouse Wedge, we both had the Filet Mignon.Carol had the Cranberry Crisp for dessert, I wish I had the same. I ordered the Cream Cups, I liked the Cranberry Crisp better.I could not think of a way to improve on the experience! Read more
