Bees around the drive thru area, made it hard to order. All out of juices and lemonades, sucks for me. I had to get water I... don't drink soda. Asked for water, never got it. This has to be the worst Popeyes location in the city, but I will get to that in a minute. I LOVE Popeyes chicken (it's hard... to admit this because it's a chain). The flavor of the breading, the tender juicy chicken. The chicken sandwich is as good asthe hype says. It's my preference for buying chicken out. I don't think I've been to any Popeyes that's fast. The location Inormally go to usually fast at taking your orders, but then 10-15 people standing around waiting on orders. But... this has tobe the worst Popeyes in the city. The dining room is closed so I sat in the drive through for over 30 min. When I reached thespeaker to order, no one ever came on, so we pulled up to the window. Thank goodness we already ordered online (which thatbrings up other issues... I hate the app ordering almost as bad). I was the same distance between 2 locations and picked thewrong 1. The staff is always friendly and the management is even better with customers. You definitely feel like you're visiting family... rather than a fast food joint. Sometimes they're out of stuff (not because it's their fault) and the wait times can be a littlelong, but the food is typically fresh and tasty and makes up for any shortages or waits. Not the greatest of neighborhoods butbetter than some of the other Popeyes in better neighborhoods. Read more

Easily 1 of the worst experiences I have had with the service industry. To start the line as always was extremely long and slow ... . When I finally was able to order I wanted chicken sandwiches only to be told they didn't have any. So I decided to get the 16piece family meal I requested 1 rice and 2 fries and at least 3 wings spicy and mild. When I arrived at the window I asked theyoung man to read my order back to me and he did it was correct. However, that is not what was in my bag when I got home. In mybag was 9 dry to the bone breast 1 wing 2 thighs and 2 legs 14 pieces not 16 and nothing like I requested. Also in this bag ofchaos was 6 small mash 2 small rice and 2 LG rice. Both containers of rice were dry and unflavored. Missing was the biscuits.That's the order. Now for the out of order in this store which was visible since the window remained open for the duration.There were 6 or 7 employees standing around doing absolutely not nothing just talking and chilling 1 young lady in all blackwhite purse on her back was vaping freaking vaping in the store behind the counter around the food. No gloves no hair nets noleadership and no professionalism. I called and spoke with a Walter who was apologetic and appeared to be genuine. Saggingprofanity smoking VAPING and chilling insane and unreasonable. My kids ate sandwiches doubt if I drive 15 minutes to probablyhave nothing by some smart alleic manager do nothing. So I'm doing this instead In addition to sending videos and pictures toPopeyes international. Tired of these companies thinking good service in not required in all neighborhoods that's was the lasttime I will ever buy Popeyes. Wow. This was a rare experience. I ordered online, which is always something of a gamble. The speaker/screen wasn't working so... you had to wait til you got to the window. I spent about 20 min doing that alone! Anyway, it wasn't a surprise or problem whenthey were out of shrimp. I'm assuming it was the manager I talked to who explained and compensated me generously. He was great!But the other 4 employees I could see back there were just screwing around. One was eating and talking loudly about herpersonal life to no one in particular. It was not work-appropriate subject matter and made me uncomfortable. I think the 2 youngmen may have been playing tag and the security guard was just hanging out, drinking soda. Maybe that's who the loud lady wastalking to They seemed to have nothing ready and were kinda confused about my order. When I showed (presumably) the manager myconfirmation email, he pulled it all together. But it took a while. I think I'll find another Popeyes next time. I?m speechless. We ordered 2 spicy Chicken sandwiches combos, Mac and cheese, biscuits and red beans and rice. We received... nothing we ordered. How does that even happen? We received classic sandwiches, one with Mayo, one with just chicken and breadthrown together.. NONE of our drinks, and NONE of our sides If you hate your job just say that! Read more
I ordered 2 spicy chicken sandwiches. They asked me if i would accept one classic. I assumed because they were out of spicy. But... apparently, they just wanted to get rid of an old one. Incredibly soggy chicken sandwich. The spicy one wasn't much better.Popeyes is supposed to have the best chicken sandwiches. Go to the one on Troost instead. Even if it's further away, it's worthit.
