I order from the Pickleman's on Westport Road in Kansas City, MO today. First, who ever delivered the food left it outside the... door that opens so I had to carefully push the door so that I didn't turn it over. Then I ordered extra au jus for my sandwichand was charged for the extra but there was none in the bag. I tried calling to rectify the issue but there is no answer, itjust rings and rings. Read more

Big picklemans guy. 100x fresher and tastier than subway every single time. They have the crispest crunchiest pickles of any... sandwich shop. Never disappointed Read more

The pandemic has changed a lot of things including restaurants...The last time I ordered my go to meal the sub was thick enough... for two meals. This time it was so thick with mayo, and I could hardly find any chicken at all in the sandwhich. For almost$33.00 I just exspected what I usually get, but life as normal has changed for now. Will not be ordering from Picklemans for alooooooonnnggg time!!! Read more

Was greeted by a man that was very pleasant and helpful. When it came time to check out my brother was confused on how our order... was rung up so he just recalled all the things we had to make sure it was correct. The lady behind the register then proceededto ?re-enter our order? causing a significant price increase. We were confused on how it had changed when it should not have. She then proceeds to yell at us that it was right the first time and she refuses to change it back since ?we made her change itthe first time? when we were just double checking that she had the right items. When we questioned why this was such a big dealshe proceeds to curse under her breath, pull the other customers into the conversation by saying things like ?you saw me ring itin the first time right?? (as if we forcibly made her change it when we just were asking if she had the right order), and alsosay things like ?Lord Jesus help me deal with these people? (or something of that nature). All throughout this interaction wenever once raised our tone, we remained civil and kind. All around a terrible experience that will result in us never wanting toreturn back to this establishment. (Shoutout to the guy who made our sandwiches who could see the bad service we were receiving, tried to step in, but then was also yelled at by this lady so he ended up just backing off from the situation) Read more

BUSINESS LUNCHES! What a great place to order meals for a business luncheon. They are affordable, fast and the food is pretty... good. But watch out for the cookies! The cookies are addictive and wonderful. They are better than the cookie shop next door tothem. This is an amazing location, they go above and beyond. Read more

It's....okay. Nothing exceptional about the sandwiches or pizza, but it offers free soda refills and has good seats with big... windows to look out. The staff are obviously trained to be customer-friendly. Someone usually says "Welcome to Picklemans" orsomething like that when someone comes in. A little hit and miss, but this is obviously a trained thing that the owner orgeneral manager is trying to achieve. (These days, younger people have to be trained/taught such things when they work at aplace; it isn't natural for them, especially in a big city.) This place could easily be a 5 star place and make a lot moremoney. The owner simply needs to differentiate it -- create something unique -- and hit that one thing in all marketing. Ifthe brand aims to be special in some way, I am totally unaware of it and do not encounter anything exceptional when I go to thisplace. I have some ideas on a USP for this place, but anyway it's not hard to come up with one. The owner just needs to comeup with one, and make it a reality. Something in the taste; something in the atmosphere; a free cookie with the purchase of 2+sandwiches, something. A sandwich place in this location (Westport) should have substantially more visitors than it does, in myopinion. Unleveraged opportunity. The name of the place is brilliant....now make the place itself brilliant. Good luck. Read more

We stopped in for some evening munchies after watching the Chiefs game in Westport. Garlic cheese bread was devoured by the... whole table. Even the Gluten-free pizza crust was a hit. Shout out to JT! He was inviting & accommodating. I can see why heis a key manager. His customer obsession is apparent as he went above and beyond to create an inviting and enjoyable experience. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town! Read more
