Every experience at this location had been perfection from food, to staff to atmosphere... It's my go to restaurant! Jessica,... Shelly and Chris C have waited on me and they always make me feel like I'm the only one they're waiting on! Today I placed a togo order and was not app savvy so I went inside. When I went, I wondered why the Chili's next door had far more business than On The Border. I found out. The service was... excellent and friendly. The restaurant was super cold. The food came out at close to room temperature. You know it's not hotwhen the cheese doesn't melt. The only reason I have now to go there is because of the staff and the excellent service. It was some of the worst Mexican food I've had. The place was empty but took forever to get food and drinks. The rice was hard... the beans were dried out and the tostada was soggy. The burrito has way too much extra tortilla folded up on it it was likebasically eating a bunch of dough. My kid wouldn't eat her food she said it was yucky. It gave me the impression I was eatingbuffet food that had been cooked in the morning and was sitting on a warmer all day, hence the hard rice and dried out beans. Iwill not be going back. This place used to be my go-to for Mexican food for the last 10 years I don't know when it changed I haven't been there for... several months but was awesome before but not anymore. They changed their chips which aren't any good anymore Taco shells sameway. The drinks are weak and the service is slow even when they're not busy they won't do anything to make nothing right if youcomplain oh and by the way I asked for some jalapenos and I got some pickled ones out of a jar they used to have fresh ones Iknow times are tough but they definitely lost a customer that is spent lots of dollars there it's just not any good anymore wentto Mia ranchito couple days later they were very nice and accommodating. The floors were SO sticky. The waitress got my friend's order completely wrong. The portions are smaller than they used to be... and of course the prices are what they are. Normally a GREAT place to eat, but, the requests overshadowed the quality of service! They're definitely following the Covid 6... get guidelines! The tables were separated and the waitresses had more than enough room to maneuver around each other! The salsahas a "bite" to it, so be ready.....I thoroughly enjoyed it, but not all of our party did! The portions were fair and thequality of the food was excellent!
