Our waitress seemed like she was dealing with some stuff and also the food was horrible? I got the salmon burger, it was hard to... eat. Tasted like a frozen patty with wayyyyy to much sauce. My brother got the tacos, also bad, and my mom got a chickensandwich, she barely ate it. We had to ask another waitress for the check because ours was too busy talking at the bar. I am not one to make reviews. But I have to share this experience. On Sunday, August 21st around 5pm myself and my older sister... met up with a group of friends there for a 21st birthday celebration. We didn?t know that it was going to end up so horrible.The waitress we had accused us of not making a reservation along with the other guests dining there that day, which it why itwas so busy and had slow service. With that being said every other table this waitress tended to received they?re drinks, foodand tickets before us though they were seated after us. The waitress also made sure to laugh and joke with these other groups ofguests as well as check up on them plenty of times. Meanwhile it took twenty to thirty minutes between each visit of thiswaitress. She told my sister that the straws are at the bar when she asked for some. I was told that the waitress wouldpersonally have to brew tea in order for her to fill my drink request, which I changed to a Sprite after feeling guilty of hercompleting her job. We did speak to the manager, who apologized and promised a free meal for my sister because she canceled itdue to the waitress singling her out more and being much ruder to her. He also promised a ?couple gifts cards to return?. Hespoke with the waitress and said he?d return to the table but never did. The waitress returned to ?apologize? but continuouslyundermined what I and my sister were saying on behalf of our group. She kept claiming she didn?t know what she did, thought weJUST told her. She said, ?I?m sorry I guess.? I proposed just leaving the establishment without paying because one we feltstupid sitting there for 20+ more minutes after being treated so poorly. But no. The birthday girl left $50 as well as my otherfriend leaving $20 on the table, then we walked out. Had a great time with family there. They were busy and understaffed the day we stopped by, but the team that was there really... pulled it together and took care of us. Champions league final 2022. Understaffed, so their service was terrible. Sitting in a booth and 2 beers took way to long and... this was before the place was even full. There was a huge line at the bar also and it was moving incredibly slow. Even heardour waitress tell another table that they were out of glasses and this was at 145pm. We left before kickoff. Won't bereturning. Lots of potential it just seems poorly run. How could a soccer bar not expect a crowd for one of the biggest soccerevents in the world? The game was playing in the power and light plaza so we just watched it there. The crowd was awesome andthe bar service was great there as well. Love this place! Very soccer-friendly pub with lots of love for KC and the local sports teams. Inside you can play shuffleboard,... darts, bowling, foosball, table tennis and beer pong, all while drinking and watching sports on their numerous TVs. Fun fact,there is a little arcade area behind the cinema screen wall that has 3 pinball machines and 3 arcade games (see pic). The foodhere is great and they frequently have food and drink specials. Staff are friendly and there are great views of the Power andLight district from everywhere in the bar. Best place to watch soccer and other sports in KC.
