Today, I was craving General Tao's Chicken, badly. I wanted the kind you normally get in a Chinese restaurant, not the version... I was served the last time I ordered it. At New China Star, I got the General Tao's Chicken lunch special. The service was quickand friendly. Price was very reasonable. The entrée came with all the sides I selected, and a drink. Everything was great andsatisfied my craving to a T. I recommend trying out this place. I will certainly be returning to try something else. PS. Shoutout to all the restaurants in this retail center. Tried New China Star because my regular place wasn't open. We used to order from them often but we moved up towards Barry Rd.... Not only did they deliver but prices were still good, the food was hot and amazing (and that's a lot coming from me in regardsto Chinese food) We ordered spring rolls. cran rangoon, Springfield cashew chicken, vegetable lo mein, and princess chicken.Ordering online was fast and simple. My favorite local Chinese place. The food is good, well proportioned and my favorite part, lots of options for extra things like... extra meat, or eggs for the fried rice. Never have had a bad meal from here ever. Their beef fried rice is my absolute favorite.Delivery has always been on time and sometimes even faster than advertised. Read more

Most of the food is really good but but you gotta watch what you order, the Walnut shrimp for example has a crazy amount of... celery and like 6-8 shrimp these are about a third of last night's leftovers so we already ate some of it, I don't know im justnot much of a celery fan Read more
Nice big portions. Almost everything is good. Do not get the egg drop soup, it tastes like hot water with a hint of plastic.
