The chicken was very moist and tender. Some large bones in the catfish nuggets, too much pepper in the chicken and catfish... coatings and the baked beans, and the mayo in the coleslaw and potato salad was rancid. Mac and cheese was pretty horrible, too.All in all, not worth the $40 we spent on the food. I placed the order online, paid for it, and asked them to double wrapeverything because I had a long ride. Yeah, they did t double wrap anything. This was described to me as "crack chicken" becauseit's so addictively tasty and you can't stop eating it. I didn't get that at all. This past Saturday I placed an order of 150pc wings for a family gathering, when I arrived at Jay?s storefront, the food wasn?t... ready. Which was concerning due to me placing the order in 24 hours in advance They had just started cooking it. After finishingup cooking my order, I was handed an entire pan that was to hot to carry to my car without dropping. Which is very unsafe!!After asking the Clerk for an additional pan, to protect my hands as I carry the food out to the car. He told me that?ll be anadditional $3. For a extra pan. This place is fire! I don't particularly eat wings often. But this place has over the top wings, best I've ever had,! Never in... my life would I eat so many with their trademark lemon pepper whatever it is, ask for extra. I'm not a fan of lemon pepper, butthis place turned me into one.
