ate here for breakfast. Ordered a raisin bagel with cream cheese and coffee. the bill was around $5. Both were very good. The... service friendly and fast. There is a variety of items here typically found at fast food breakfast restaurants. A good option atthis mall. Try to stop here at least once a visit to KC. This place is the trifecta of bad service. They are slow, rude and the place is a mess. There is a mess on the floor the... counters, and the beverage machines are filthy. Waiting inline for a bagel sandwich for going on 20 minutes now with no end insite. They should probably call the Guinness book of world records, because their cook has to be one of the slowest movinghumans in existence. The bonus is he yells out stuff to customers while they're ordering like "we ain't scrambling any eggs inhere" I'd walk right by this place if you are ever in Crowne Center. I had Einstein bros for the first time yesterday and I was not disappointed. They have a awesome rewards program you can... download on your phone and you get points toward redeeming for free coffee or food. Their coffee, bagels and sandwiches areamazing. I recommend highly the chocolate chip bagel. Read more
I really felt for the employees working. There were only two of them and they were both very soft spoken and seemed nervous.... They ran out of most of their bagels and the coffee machine was broken. And my sandwich was just terrible. Plus it looked likethe wrapper they used for my sandwich had been used previously for something else. Ugh. Ew. Read more
Employees seriously need training to get up to chain standards, unable to take simple directions, made a Nova lox bagel with... literally a wipe off cream cheese (as it was mustard), did not understand what a bag is or why I would want one for my order.Had to explain several times which coffee beverage from the menu I wanted. The bagels are typically pretty yummy at Einstein's. This is standard and tough to mess up, but I went to Einstein's at Crown... Center today a dog I stood in line, a really long line, and when I got to cashier I gave her my order. She asked me if I hadtold anyone else my order. I had not because no one had yet said the magic words , "May I take your order?" This seems prettystandard..I mean, I am the customer, and they work behind the counter. Obviously, I am there for a reason, so I went back andtold person who I was supposed to tell my order to, then I went back to the cashier and to her what I had ordered, because shehad not communicated what I had just to the other person. Really good food and coffee. The girl at the counter was running the whole counter by herself, and doing an awesome job keeping... up with a very busy morning! For the people who have commented that the "employee seemed to be annoyed", perhaps it's because ofpeople who order a bagel "plain with no toppings" and then ask where the cream cheese is. Read more
