I usually love this place. We normally get older waitresses who do a great job but today we got Heather. She decided that she... was going to leave us 30 minutes without so much as a hi, hello, while we had two empty cups sitting in plain view to dosilverware. Not just us, but the entire section. Didn't so much as smile at us till one of the other customers went to GET her.Terrible terrible service. I watched her look at us no fewer than 4 times and did the silverware despite us sitting here. Theother customer asked her why she was doing silverware instead of waiting her tables, and she gave her some excuse aboutnightshift. We never got a refill and by the time she asked, there was no point, we were on our way out. I pride myself on beinga good tipper, today I did not tip. Late night order of the French toast Grand Slam (about an hr before closing), picked up like five minutes after the scheduled... time.. had to reheat food when I got home. Didn't really seem like any of it was cooked fresh, besides maybe the over-medeggs. I get it it was late, but that shouldn't be a reason why my food wasn't fresh. I've been here many times. The restaurant is clean but is situated right off the 70 highway. There's a sign on the door that... says, "No public restrooms. For customers only.". That should give you an idea of the location. Other than that, very friendlyand committed staff who do their best to service their customers. You should enjoy a nice meal here... Read more
I'm only giving 3 stars. I wanted to give 1. My food came out and it was cold. My hashbrowns were too done and my eggs were not... over medium. Miss Annie was so polite and made sure they remade my food correctly. She was a great server. And she is why I amgiving 3 stars. Read more

The Best T-Bone in KC!!! This is late so it's in reference to November 28th, Monday, about 6am. Had ordered two T-bone Steak... & Eggs meals with seasoned red potatoes and salted caramel banana pancakes for sides. For context I have eaten across thecountry in many one star to four star restaurants and steak is a kind of go to when it's on the company's dime. Plus you knowpretty much what your gonna get. Except those rare times you get the first bite followed by a "WOW!!!" "Wow!!" Is all I can sayabout the T-bone I had the honor of being able to enjoy every bite of that early Monday morning. The chef that prepared this Ithank you for hands down one of the top three steaks I have ever eaten while dining at sit down restaurant or getting fast foodever!! You sir deserve pay equal to your skill in that you should be making as much as a chef is making instead of a cook. Theservice is my only complaint but I don't want to make this review about that due to the unbelievably awesome food I receivedthat night. Yeah and the potatoes and pancakes were also very good too. Food- 11/10 Service- 4/10 Atmosphere-2/10 Clarification- I ordered carry-out so I wasn't there long and only got to experience the rude, unempathetic, miserablelooking lady who wouldn't even hand me my food but instead made me walk to the bar counter to get.
