My order was $82 after being taxed as heck but **THE FOOD WAS TOP TIER**???? . Very good sushi im happy i ate it.... However... .... this doesn't give excuse for the waitress who answered the phone and then tended me to act as she did. I felt raciallyprofiled and discriminated as she spoke to me slowly in an Asian accent because i didn't hear her the first time and im mexicanand she was, what looked like, Caucasian. On the phone she gave a really bad attitude too, until i advised i could just orderelsewhere she said well what can i get you very snobby like. She was very repulsive,a good way to drive business off. Dobetter . There's enough hate in the world & i hate not tipping (i never do it) as an ex server myself but the way she treated mewas disgusting and so bad i won't return again even though the food was fantastic. Im entitled to my opinions and feelings.Sorry my expirience sucked but i said what i said . I didnt use the R word , like i said do better! Read more

Small restaurant but fantastic food. Jenna was our waitress. She handled multiple tables and made sure all of our food, "we... ordered a lot" came out in a timely manner. Over the top customer service with food to match. I highly recommend. Read more

Great atmosphere. Brookside Dragon Roll: fresh eel. A bit pricy (or maybe in time of inflation, I'm not sure). I'll be back to... try hot soup and more on the menu. Read more

This restaurant was such a disappointment. First, the service was horrid and rude. I was told to take my own chopsticks and then... yelled at when I reached for the wrong set. Second, they were late with the beyond overpriced food that was not even close to anadult portion. The food wasn?t terrible, I must say, but I paid an exorbitant amount for half-empty styrofoam boxes. I?m stillhungry. Read more

I will rate this place from both food and experience. The experience: I enjoyed the dining experience, especially with friends.... It's a small but lovely restaurant and I felt welcomed and service was fast and friendly. 5 stars. The food: I would say it'sprobably about 3.5 stars. We ordered quite a few dishes, some appetizers, a few rolls, some nigiris, and a hot dish. Theappetizer (shrimp tempora) and the free salad were surprisingly good. But I am going to say that the nigiris (I had salmon toroand unagi) are the best of all these dishes. I wasn't expecting the salmon toro to be cooked but it's ok, they melt in yourmouth and the fat was quite delicious. Also, I don't think the rice is supposed to be soaked in sauces but somehow they were. Sothat's room for improvement. The nigiris are a bit expensive for only 2 pieces per order but I would say it's still relativelyreasonable. The rolls are a bit disappointing. We ordered 4 rolls but somehow they all started to taste very similar, and thedynamite "roll" was more for show than the actual taste. Very salty and greasy. I only really tasted the mushrooms in there. Soif I were to recommend this place to someone, I would say maybe come with a small group to enjoy the fun experience, but levelset your food expectations, unless you have never had sushi before. If you are looking for an authentic true Japanese sushiexperience, this is not the one. Read more

Tried Brookside Sushi yesterday and loved it. The sushi was fresh, and the service friendly. Had the calamari, the red dragon... roll, the shrimp killer roll, the Tum Katsu and a glass of Chardonnay. #eatlikealadyshould Read more
