One of my favorite places in Kansas City...Brookside Barrio!! I'm a little biased due to living in the area...but the drinks are... strong and the food is fantastic. I would recommend any dish in the pictures posted. Stop by during their happy hour for greatdeals! Read more
This evening was our first time trying brookside Barrio and the was ok, I wasn't a big fan of the garlic sauce on the burrito.... The sauce on the corn is really good but the corn was really hard to bite into when it's not supposed to be that hard. Now, thechips and salsa was best thing I ate here. Read more
I shop across the street at the Consentino and always wonder about this restaurant. It was my husband and I 11year anniversary... and we decided to have lunch here. We were sadly disappointed. The only thing that was good was the pickled onions. There wasnothing on my husband veggie nachos and what ever seasoning that is on the chips is too much. Will not be returning. Its about ten degrees outside. We sat on the enclosed patio. The patio heaters kept it warm enough I took off my coat. It's... Tuesday evening. Normally a slow shift in the restaurant bizz. This placed was packed. Service was great. Food came out hot in atimely manner even though the restaurant was extremely busy. I had a Pork Burrito. Huge portion. Pork was fantastic.
