Phenomenal! This is a hidden gem for sure! At least for us it was. I was looking for something with a fresh menu to us and this... place was IT! We were so pleasantly surprised. Made a reservation because this place seems busy. Friendly staff and a niceseating area in and out of the restaurant. Waitress mentioned the food changes seasonally so gotta try again soon. Oh my goodness the smoked cocktails! Also, a great happy hour. And most of all, the most excellent service. Top notch, as... expected at fine dining, but also very lighthearted and fun. Our server managed our large group flawlessly! The corn chowder isgreat - the meals here are very comforting. I love the attention to detail as to the customer's experience. The chairs are verycomfortable. The place is beautiful inside. There's a lot of comfy seating outside, and heated patios as well. Parking is streetparking but there's a reserved spot for drop off near the door which was helpful as I was driving someone on crutches. There'salso a nearby parking garage. One of KC's not so hidden gems on Main Street! Great service, food and drinks. I love trying new places and different food.... Their menu is fantastic! Their starter plate offering octopus was amazing! It was creative and was so flavorful! For the entreeI had the rainbow trout stuffed pork belly. Just a great tasteful and surprising mix. I absolutely loved the drink menu, whichyou will not find at any other restaurant in KC. Great experience overall and the parking was a breeze. I was worried aboutfinding parking on the street but there is a parking garage next door and they will validate your parking. That was a nicesurprise! Pleasantly surprised about what a great place this is, and an excellent happy hour. Drinks were well made and had ample booze... and the food was all outstanding. The pimento cheese balls were super crispy and the tomato jam was the perfectaccompaniment. The deviled eggs were so unique and still perfect. Octopus with chickpeas (not on the HH menu) were also reallytasty. Really pretty spot and definitely worth a visit. If the weather was nice, the patio is excellent. Read more

Perfect brunch experience. Our server, Thomas, made the day. He was a professional who delivered, and we don’t see that much... in today’s environment. The avocado, crab Louis toast, is the best twist we’ve had on avocado toast. My burger was amazingand medium per request. Our kids’ meals were great and the chicken tenders were scratch.
