Look, I?m not one to be nit picky but most of the time I enjoy this places food. A few spots around the metro and I chose this... one today and by far the worst captain D?s in Kansas City Sorry to the workers who read this review but the quality of the foodjust wasn?t worth it. Gave me the wrong order in the drive thru and I didn?t realize it until I got home. Since this location has a habit of closing... early, I tried calling as it was already past 8, but their phones were disconnected both that day and the next day. Went to thedrive thru the next day to talk to someone and the white lady at the window had an attitude and asked ?you didn?t bring thefood? Seems like you just ate it then.? Did you expect me to bring the food from yesterday? It was an order of dried up chickentenders instead of our fish meal. Service was better here before the place burned down. Read more
Had the spicy chicken sandwich & a side of fried okra. It was great. The fried okra was perfect: hot, crunchy batter, tender... inside, not too greasy. The sandwich was good. Especially the fish fillets. Customer service was good. Read more
First time we tried it since they were back open they must?ve used old grease because the food was super greasy and it made all... our stomachs hurt. The food was hot and fresh although it took over 30 minutes. Tried it again today, 3 months later from thefirst time and my husband?s food was ok. I had the fish and chicken combo and all my food was old. They took less than 5 minutesto produce both his grilled meal and mine which was a red flag. Fries were old, fish so over cooked it was barely any flesh leftinside. Chicken was dry and stringy, a pure indication of being old. Guy/woman in the window was rude when we asked for honeymustard. 8/19/22 waited in the drive thru for 15 mins before someone finally took my order. I order a 2 pc and fries pay and pull off. I... park to eat, open my box and as shown in the photo was my $7.19 meal. I was given 1pc and fries which was not what I ordered.This location needs to close permanently. They do not value the customers. Dining room is closed, having personal conversationsthat should not be heard through the drive-thru speaker. Dull service. Personality of a zombie and had to repeat the order several times. The food was pretty good. I enjoyed the shrimp... and fries. Chicken was okay, had more of a fish flavor. You can definitely tell they use the same fryers for the chicken andfish. Read more
