It would seem that they use the "... hottest" onions on the planet, you would think when the place was packed, the food would be a lil better. I have been to What-A-Burger so frequently in 42 years, that I would have to put it as one of the top dining establishments to... visit while in Kannapolis, NC. It has a 50's-60's drive through feel of scene. Your servers will walk out to your car or you candine in. They have quite a few local and neighboring town locations and you won't find any other locations anywhere else. Theyhave one-of-a-kind drinks as well as some of the food. There are a chain of this burger spots throughout Kannapolis and Concord. It reminds you of an old school burger shop where you... drive up to a speaker box and simply order you food. While they do have seating inside, I truly recommend living in the past andeating in your vehicle. The food was simply and a little pricey for what you get. I would recommend Bebos for good burgers (thefood is made to order so you will have to wait a little longer). Read more
Some people compare this to In-N-Out burgers in Cali. I say not even close. It's a good burger don't get me wrong, but I... wouldn't make that comparison. The onion rings aren't very impressive, just like any frozen onion rings fried up. The burger was good but probably not enough... for me to come back. What really took away the stars here was the staff who brought out the food and took payment did not wear amask. If we had seen her prior to ordering, we would've gone elsewhere. Read more
