Their Kailua pork and luau beef is fresh and delicious. Their poi is okay, I've had better poi at Helena's in Honolulu. It's... fresh though. Their dessert, the sweet lady of waiahole, is to die for We visited two times.Once before COVID, when there wasoutdoor seating as pictured but the wait for food was long. The second time we ordered online and pick up was a breeze. Theyalso have Chinese dried plum lollies. Pre-covid, there was restroom service inside, not sure about now. The seating insidelooked congested. We've never sat. I would say, grab a takeout and sit in one of the many parks in the area to enjoy thedelectable food. Read more

Great place to try traditional Hawaiian food (you will be eating poi!) They only do take out, and they have a good assortment... of things to try with good flavor. Poi may not be your favorite thing to try though since it can be a texture issue for some. Iliked the dessert we got very much! Read more

The best ice cream I?ve had in a long time! Rich and creamy with taro root on the bottom. They have all the traditional... Hawaiian dishes and the portions are large. This place gets packed. There is no dining in available, so drive a little furthernorth and you?ll spot some parks and beaches with tables to eat at. Definitely worth a stop if you?re in the area! Read more

We were inspired by the YouTube channel "dining on a dime" to visit! Everything about this place screams local. It was obvious... the food was home cooked/made from scratch. My husband and I both loved our lunch plates, feeling it was likely one of the mostauthentic meals we had on our visit. Read more

After this place was recommended by several people, we stopped here after a tour at Kuala Ranch. We got the Kanaka Nui which... came with: - Lau Lau - Kalua Pig - Chicken Long Rice - Lomi Salmon - Haupia Dessert - Poi - Squid Luau We also added a SweetLady of Waiahole. I loved getting to sample a lot of stuff. I really enjoyed the Kalua Pig, Chicken Long Rice, Lomi Salmon,Haupia Dessert, and Sweet Lady of Waiahole. I would just order these things if I went back. I wasn't a fan of the Lau Lau, Poi,or Squid Luau, but I've had them elsewhere that I didn't like either, so I think I just don't like these dishes ingeneral. Make sure to wear a mask even though there is no indoor area (you order at a window outside). They will ask you to putone on. I wish they had some picnic tables so you could eat there. If you're looking for some authentic Hawaiian food, I thinkthis is a great place to stop. Read more

This is the best local Hawaiian food close to Kualoa Ranch. It?s fast and the food is amazing. We went twice! The ice cream is... out of this world. I would recommend just about everything on the menu! Read more
