What an Amazing Breakfast joint. Although this place was Jumping, the Wait was only about 10 minutes, for a Table of 6. I... ordered the Breakfast Burrito, and it was Epic(& Huge). Had a wonderful experience at this location. Staff was great and the portions are insane, amazi g value for the price. The... waiter even offered to cut up a gummy worm for my son's ice cream, above and beyond. One of my favourite Zak's. Update07/06: Had breakfast, equally awesome. We went there March 23rd, after 9 p.m. It was my first time, and I just loved the food and the ambiance. The staff was so nice... and helpful. She gave us an extra Mint Chocolate shake. Thank you! The place was clean. Will be coming back again soon. Read more
I ordered breakfast at Zak?s Kanata today and the takeout container?s paper dye was all over my eggs (see pictures). I went back... and told them about it and the person said they have never seen this before and offered me a gift card. I have been to Zak?sbefore and I like their food but I advice folks getting takeouts to be extra careful and not eat toxic food. I advice the ownerto take corrective action on this issue. Read more
Decided to have an early dinner here, ordered a chocolate milkshake and the mac and cheese burger and fries. The milkshake was... good , but was it worth $7.99 + tax, maybe not and a little over priced . The Mac and cheese burger was really good. The onlything I didn't appreciate was the un ripe tomatoes they served. If you can not buy tomatoes that are ripe and red, then youshouldn't be serving them. To me they are just garbage and not good to eat. Especially on a burger your charging $18.49 for. Ialso didn't enjoy the fries they served and I found them on the cheap side. Zak's diner was exactly what I had expected in a diner. Quick breakfast, and hot coffee... And went you're woken up before dawn... by your kids, that's what you want! Service was excellent. All I can say about this restaurant is great things. AMAZING, FRIENDLY, Great food!!! I had breakfast here before going back to... University and my waitress Devon was the nicest person in the world! She asked me how I was doing and when I mentioned I wasgoing back to school she congratulated me and made me feel special and excited. I had home fries and pancakes and they came outperfectly. Gotta love the reasonable portions!! I will definitely be making it a tradition to come to this Zak's more often whenI'm home. Read more
